How do I clean my electric can opener?

Clean it with a damp towel. Do NOT submerge it, rinse under running water, or load in the dishwasher.

Does it really leave a safe and smooth edge?

Yes, it really does.

Will this work with any can?

It works with almost any can size/shape, but not soda cans with sloped edges.

Are batteries included in the package?

No, they are not included. It requires 4 x AA batteries.

Why doesn't the magnet on the can opener lift the can lid when it's done opening?

The magnet only works on iron metal lids. Some can lids are made of aluminum or other metals with less iron, so the magnet may not lift them. In these cases, you can easily lift the lid by hand.

How did you come up with the idea for this product?

It began as a family effort to help make life easier for Mama Ola, because she was having a hard time in the kitchen with her arthritic hands. After brainstorming through many ideas such as ergonomic cutting boards and star-trek style utensils, we settled on a cordless electric can opener because that was the most difficult task for her.

Review: I bought this hopping it would not cause my hand issues to be aggravated and in pain Surprise it is more awesome than I hopped.. After first two uses to open a can of beans and some tuna, i was in love Yes w/ anopener!!!!! It is awesome. Yes it is battery operated and it has opened bigger cans and smaller cans magnet holds and push one button an it spares the can from the lid no mess nothing getting I the tuna water It did not come with batteries but not a weird size you have a hassle to get. works perfect an yes it it is great. I have noticed some issues with reg old hand crank and whee to put the big electric one but yes I was excited and it exceeded all expectations. I love this can opener💜💜💜💜!!!!!! Best ever an I got during prime day so it wound up being Les then an old can can opener. turn can opener great at any price if you need and or hate the turn can opener at 19.99 and up to thirty bucks. It is stabil , will spin just using the one finger to press the button one When it done use a paper towel or am of a life and you could replace if need be. I got red. Would have loved purple. Sleek not as heavy and my old one that lasted 7 years for 38 and tax. Have I said this is a cool kitchen tool!!!!!

Review: This can opener saved me from the agony of my old manual one. I was being very choosy when deciding on a new can opener because I didn’t want another one that required a lot of twisting on my end; and I didn’t want one that was bulky and took up a lot of counter space. Well this one checked all my boxes!I love the color choices, the grip, and how simple and easy it is to use it. You can basically use one hand. Just place it on the top of the can, press the button and voila! Just sit back and watch the can opener do all the work. I also love the fact that it cuts the can so that the top doesn’t have any sharp edges making it safe for anyone to use. Another plus is it doesn’t require counter space. You can simply store it in a drawer with your other utensils . Best decision! It’s easy to grip, sturdy, and you can choose between several colors. It does require batteries that aren’t included so make sure you have some on hand. It takes 4 AA batteries.
