Title: It does a great job on carpets as well as floors
Review: We have a chordless stick vacuum which is decent but not very powerful.This blows it out of the park. The suction on this thing is awesome.This is easy to use and easy to clean out too.I really love that it is bagless. From online reviews, the bagged Kenmore 600 Series was really recommended but I didn't want one where I kept needing to buy bags for the vacuum.Funny enough on the vacuum canister of this one, it says its 600 series 😀 but nowhere on the listing did it mention that.It is a bit on the heavy side but since the canister is pulled at the back when you vacuum, you don't feel it.The easy setting from floor to carpet on the wand is brilliant and with the quick foot settings on the head you can change the height for the fluffier carpets and back to the floor.On the stairs, the head is quite big but they provided a small 'pet powemate' that does the job pretty well, not that we have a pet.The motor on the vacuum heads for both the main one and the powermate are brilliant for the carpets and agitates it to clean very well.Thus overall I am happy with the purchase and highly recommend it.It is surprising that this doesn't have as much reviews, maybe because they have 2 different models on the same page.Make sure you get the purple one with dual motors and the pet power mate. From what I can tell the blue one is cheaper but less powerful than the purple one.

Title: This review is for the Kenmore 22614 bagless canister vac.
Review: I just got my new 22614 and even though I don't usually write reviews on things, I felt I had to on this one.Firstly- I'm not too sure some of the negative reviews about this vacuum are actually for this model. The 22614 has the hose exiting the vac horizontally instead of vertically, which makes it very stable and it follows you around easily as you work. So no issues there. I always try to read reviews on the things I am buying but sometimes you just can't tell if they are correct or not. This had a lot of reviews and most of the negative ones seemed to be for a different model?Secondly- this is sooo much better than the well-and-truly worn-out Panasonic it is replacing! We have been keeping house together for 30 years now and have been through quite a few vacuums. We keep dogs, so the pet hair is always a problem, and our house is quite old and the plaster walls create quite a bit of dust. So keeping things clean can be quite a chore, and our floor vacuums usually wind up taking quite a beating along the way.This new vac was put to work today and first impressions are that it is really, really, good. It is a bit on the heavy side but that makes it stable; it had no issues going over uneven surfaces while staying upright. The manual seems to be well written, the power brush head seems very powerful, and not having to change vacuum bags was quite nice.The cord rewind seemed a bit stiff but it is brand new so that may not be an issue later on. Our cord would lock itself just fine, there was one review that had a problem there- no problem on this one. The cord also does not get as warm as the cord on our old vacuum did- that is very reassuring. Plenty of power though; I was just amazed how much dust and dog hair it got out of the busiest rug in the house. Very impressive performance so far.It just had it's first outing today so I can't speak to how well it will hold up, but the design seems very straightforward and most of the collection bin looks like it can be washed in the sink if it gets plugged up. The materials seem to be of good quality with a solid feel, unfortunately that also means there is a little weight there and the unit is a bit heavy.There are two filters; a round one on top that can be washed and the rectangular HEPA one underneath that cannot. The filters are not terribly expensive and we'll see how long they last. Considering how much dust and hair it picked up today, there did not seem to be too much dirt in the filters so far, so they might last quite a while.If I had to choose one nit to pick it would be with the accessory storage; as there really isn't one. There is a clip-kind-of-thing that goes on the wand right below the handle that holds the narrow nozzle and small dusting brush, and that's it. The accessories are out in the open and the they get in the way a bit, but the clip does seem to hold them securely. I guess time will tell how well that works; it might just take some getting used to and then will be a non-issue.So, five stars so far. Can't see taking one off for the accessory clip, as it didn't seem to be a big deal. Can't see taking one off for the weight either; as it gives it a very nice quality feel to it. Maybe it's a generational thing, but 'light' seems so often to go hand in hand with 'cheaply-made' these days. This rig feels like it'll go a few rounds and still be standing.Hope this review helps anyone thinking about buying this vacuum.

Title: Very easy to set up
Review: Slightly heavier than my Hoover whisper zen which apparently is no longer made but this vacuum has excellent suction with the carpet attachment. If came with a pet pro attachment I haven’t used yet and a crevice tool and brush but no hard floor attachment which my other kenmore or canister vacs have. You can use the Capet attachment on a floor setting but it doesn’t work as well. Thankfully my Hoover hard floor brush fits the pole. So far one cleaning in I’m happy. I did have the under filterfall out halfway thru and the pole detached without trying to but hopefully that will all subside as I keep using. Also washable filter so great great great!

Title: BEST Vacuum I've Ever Bought
Review: I am IN LOVE with this 2-motor Kenmore vacuum. Don't be jelly! The suction power is fantastic. This thing practically drags me along. The wheels travel smoothly over my wooden floors and area rugs without a snag. I LOVE that the power head has lights. I now see dust I didn't with my old vacuum. I get migraines and I appreciate the light guiding me to the dusty areas that I need to clean. I also LOVE that there's a Dead Man Switch on the handle itself. I can now switch from rotating brushes to no rotation to off, if I accidentally suck up a tissue or a sock or something. Beautiful! I live in a one-story, three BR ranch. The cord is long enough to reach all the way into my bedroom bathroom, back to my kitchen, by my back door, etc. with the cord plugged in centrally in my hallway. My ONE qualm with this vacuum is that the dirt cup doesn't snap back on as easily as my last vacuum did. I have an arthritic left foot and found myself cursing while struggling to put the dirt cup back on. I recommend reading the manual and practicing popping the dirt cup on and off, before you get it dirty. Years ago I had a Kenmore that lasted quite a while, until the wire to the power head broke. I hope Kenmore has resolved that sticky wicket, by now.This Kenmore is bagless and I am thrilled that the filter is also washable. No pain looking for filter replacements.The handle length is also adjustable, so I can set it at a comfortable height for me to swing back and forth and to reach places I need to reach. So many thoughtful features!I'm looking forward to this vacuum sucking efficiently for a good, long time.Other than that, this Kenmore is built tough. Solid, but not ridiculously heavy.

Review: Very happy with this vacuum! I owed a Kenmore years ago and loved it but this one is even better. Pros: bagless, great suction, light weight, powered head/beater bar with light, quick foot release for doing baseboards, adjustable floor height, washable filter, retractable cord, power on the handle so you can choose bare floors or carpet, etc. etc.Cons: Hard plastic tab to open/close compartment when dumping the dirt (hoping that never breaks)

Review: I bought this exact vacuum from Sears many years ago, and when the motor finally blew, I was disappointed I couldn’t order parts. So that’s the downside. Otherwise this is an incredible vacuum with amazing suction! I’ve been using a thrifted vacuum and it was shocking how much this vacuum picked up that the other one missed.

Review: This is the second one I've bought. The first one I bought 14 or 15 years ago and was surprised I could basically buy the same one. Our old one was in pretty bad shape. For those like me that don't read the manual I'm going to say that there are 2 filters on it you need to check, change, clean or replace. There's one on top and one at the bottom back of the machine that I never knew about (yes I'm an idiot). The other reason I mention it though is that my old machine lasted 14 or 15 years without ever changing the back filter. The old one was made by Kenmore and the new one is by a different company. The new one is pulling crap out of our carpet that has obviously been there for years and that my poor old and abused one left behind. We had an issue with the power head and had to get a replacement through Amazon but since then it's been working awesome. It's well worth the extra money in my opinion. Make sure to order the optional floor tool though. I will also say that I've used the little power head on everything from beds and couch cushions to my car interior and floor mats. It doesn't get into the really tight spots but does a good job everywhere it does fit.

Review: Love my new Kenmore 22614 . Beats the Dyson Animal Power Mate by far.. I had this Kenmore before for many years, but finally bit the big one. The suction on the my area carpet is unbelievable, considering I just vacuumed my carpet the day before with the Dyson……..difference amazing. Powerful little machine and best of all no bags! So bye bye Dyson, hello Kenmore.

Review: Love this Kenmore 22614 Pet Friendly Bagless vacuum. Had one before that lasted about five years. Motor ended up burning out after moving to a new house, not sure if it was due to the move or just ran it's course. Bounced around vacuums but found none of them compared to this one. Lightweight and like the telescoping wand which makes it comfortable for me. Easy to empty the canister and picks up alot of dirt from carpets. Like that you can adjust motor height which allows me to vacuum varying types of carpet lengths.
