Title: Really well designed
Review: This is literally like my fourth espresso machine. The cheaper ones just don't last long. I seem to have to buy one every two years. So far it's my favorite. I would call this the perfect intermediate espresso machine. There are just a lot of really nice quality of life design choices. The water tank is large and convenient. The milk frother has a removable piece that makes it so much easier to clean. The espresso component has a locking mechanism so when you're dumping out your old grinds you don't have to chase the puck thing around.It works really nicely. My only complaint is you do have to watch the milk as it doesn't stop automatically, but it also has a timer so you can get it at the exact same temperature every time. And I will say the machine is weirdly short. Not all of my cups fit. But It's really simple to use and has those minor quality of life adjustments make it significantly better than comparable models. Especially the timer. That's really nice. Not to mention it does make fabulous espresso.Like I said I've bought many espresso machines and so far and this is my favorite, especially for the price. We'll see how it holds up over time.Update: 9 months of daily use and still holding up quite well. Also added a pic to show the crema.

Title: The portafilter basket came defective, company & amazon wont replace it.
Review: I purchased this machine thinking it was a great deal reading the reviews. Once I got it, the portafilter basket for a 2 cup espresso shot does not have a hole at the bottom. Usually pressurized baskets will have a hole at the bottom to release the shot. After realizing this and failing to produce a 2 cup shot, I was able to make a shot with the one cup basket, since it had the hole at the bottom.I contacted product support about this and they said they cannot replace any of the parts without a full return. I tried to buy replacement parts and wasted my time and money because there are no replacement parts anywhere on the internet or amazon for a 55mm basket. I even bought a new portafilter 54mm and tried to get it on but it would not fit and I have to return this as well.I don't know why someone would sell an espresso machine with no chance of getting replacement parts. What would happen if one of your filter baskets comes defective like mine? Never be able to produce a double shot? What would happen if one of the baskets fails over time (which is likely to happen) ? Your machine becomes useless and you cannot buy replacement baskets that fit. So while the machine works if you get it in the best condition possible and get lucky with the parts, you still have a limited amount of time before you'll have to buy a new machine anyway. I spent hours talking with product support on amazon for them to tell me about their "limitations" with returning this item, saying that I would only receive a refund within 14-30 days after they receive the product. So If I choose to return this machine I'll have to wait a long time before I can purchase a different machine while they hold my money and I have no product, which feels like a scam.You can look everywhere to find a basket that fits this portafilter and you will fail, you can try and buy a new portafilter and it will not fit. Customer support will give you the runaround and even though you bought an espresso machine you will not be making espresso for a long time.I would suggest buying a different machine but after working with amazon on this issue I would say just don't buy an espresso machine off of amazon. The quality of customer service and the return policy is so low. To clarify, all I would've needed is a replacement for my 2 cup filter basket but without it I have half of a functioning machine and I would need to wait a month to make coffee again or get any money back. Don't buy this and do your research if you want to buy any espresso machine off of amazon. I recommend Breville espresso machines.

Review: I've had another espresso machine from a good brand, and because the milk frother stopped working I've decided to buy this for Black Friday. I had no expectations but to my surprise, I was very impressed with the quality of this machine! It's not the best built machine in terms of material, but offers a great espresso shot. Since I worked as a barista, I was skeptical about the milk frother. However, I think it's a really good one for the price(unless you want to buy a 1000$+ machine, this one works excellent for the price!)! I also liked how it's not just a on off button for the frother, but a knob with which you start it.Overall it's been two weeks since I've opened it, yet no complains so far.

Review: First off, let me start by saying that after reading all the amazing reviews here, I was super excited to get this machine. It arrived quite delayed from when it was supposed to. I followed all the instructions and the machine would not work. Lights were on, and I could hear the noise of coffee brewing but it would not dispense any coffee nor milk. The other thing that I noticed right away was that although this machine does make cappuccinos, is very much built towards expressos, as that is the only size cup you will be able to fit under the coffee handle dispenser. There is no room to fit a regular coffee sized mug under it, so to me that is not practical at all, having to drop coffee from one mug to another, then fill it with the milk after its frosted. Its just a lot of unnecessary steps when you are in a rush.Lastly, if you need help from their support team, the only way you can reach them is by e-mail. There is no way to contact them by phone number, as they do not provide a phone number, which to me just shows red flags all over about this Company. If they trusted their product and guaranteed it, they wouldn’t be afraid of people wanting to contact them. Clearly they must have had way too many complaints to not want to provide their phone number.Conclusion: I ended up returning the machine and purchasing a much better one for a cheaper price.
