Title: Highly recommended
Review: I installed on my 2006 tundra on this case I have to add 2 relays to open driver door, this alarm it's been a good investment. The instructions are very clear, only thing I don't really like is the siren sound when lock/unlock function is activated, it's not a clear quality sound but when the alarm goes off it's loud enough.

Title: Poor quality
Review: This alarm disarm for no reason. Check all connections, solder every wire for good connection and keep disarming and leaving the car opened for no reason and when the car was running keep making a whistling noise, took off and through in the bin.

Title: It's a super basic alarm for a good price
Review: I've had alot of alarms. I've installed alot of alarms. Audiovox makes this alarm. I've had a couple audiovox alarms in the past, and they tend to be pretty good quality, especially compared to your typical house brands. The bad: The remotes are total junk. They lasted maybe a month before the chrome trim started coming off of one of them, which was disappointing. The range left alot to be desired too.The meh: If you disconnected the battery for any reason, as soon as you reconnect it the alarm will go off. This might not be bad to you, but it's jarring. The only horn output is for the siren, whereas many other alarms I have installed use both your car's horn and a siren. I do not like sirens, and would have preferred to use my horn. The good: Installing it was super straightforward, and it includes a starter cut relay. The instructions were adequate. It's truely basic and doesn't try to do anything extra. It includes a trunk output, which I didn't use, but is nice to have. The control unit is nice and small, I was able to hide this thing deep behind my dash behind another control unit as a result.I bought a basic alarm and what I got was a basic alarm, so it gets a basic rating. I replaced it about two months into owning it because the OEM remotes that came with my vehicle had a better range. I really only lost immobilization, which I have since replaced with a passive immobilizer that cuts the starter and power to the ECU. My advice? Save another $50 up and get something a hair more robust unless you are alright with mediocre remotes or are on a super tight budget.
