Title: Awesome Budget Amp!
Review: When my trusty Pioneer amp died on me after nearly 10 years, I was pretty torn. I didn't need bass that hit hard enough to bounce things off of my car, but I also didn't want to go back to stock.Luckily, I found this on Amazon before wasting my money on some flea market junk. The amp itself is pretty basic. You have typical crossover options and gain -- nothing special there. I noticed this uses two 10A fuses instead of one 20A fuse. (Then again, the amp I'm replacing is really old, so maybe this isn't as uncommon as I thought)So, altogether pretty ho-hum, until I got it hooked up. I'm driving two Polk db12's in a bandpass box, and they sound like new speakers with this amp. The range seems to be great, if a little "hollow" compared to the Pioneer. But that aside, it's LOUD and I haven't encountered any overheating problems.Obviously, this isn't something you'll want to use as a foundation for a competition-grade system, but it's more than enough for a casual enthusiast. (And total overkill for people who don't have to good sense to use foam or Dynamat under their license plates... you know who you are...)

Title: Totally happy and Im bumpin along
Review: I have a 2oo watt clarion head unit. Its the base model, but still 50x4. I use this amp with 2 12's Fosgate Punch 1's. I had an 800 watt amp and always had the level maxed and the frequency punchy the whole way down. My head unit also has a sub volume which was always maxed. I actually use my subs to bring in the low end in my car and use the other 4 speakers (kenwood 3 ways) for mids and highs. I bought this Pyle amp with Cadence Acoustic wires. I had the bass boost on the amp on HOWEVER I only have the level half way and the frequency is set about a quarter high. This is perfect because I am rolling my head unit vol. half way and the bass gain down. Bottom line is this amp is only pushing half what it can, and it is supplying all my low end. Very good punch from low frequencies but also sensitive enough to fill out the bottom end with a wide range. I am actually picking up what the bass player is playing, along with filling out low end frequencies on the drums and nice full punch on the kick. I am so stoked to have picked this amp up so cheap and so stoked that it sounds so awesome. I have had many different set ups in my car over the years and for the price this amp is perfect. Like I said, "Only half the power it can do and more than I need." Pick it up, set it up right, and you won't be dissapointed. Of course if you are running an amp to your other speakers and really pushing out wattage you will need something high end. This has no problems shaking the rearview!

Title: Great Value!
Review: I bought two of these amps to run 2 12" mtx Subs. If you use heavy gauge power and ground wires along with a good capacitor and quality speaker wire you will have a thumping system. I actually had these bridged AND running 2 ohm loads (friend hooked them up wrong). I didn't realize it until a week later, but they never overheated and thumped like no other. I ended up leaving them at 2ohms bridged cuz they worked so good. I'm not sure why I got away with those amps running such a low ohm bridged, but I'm guessing that 0 gauge power (with 1 farad cap) and 8 gauge speaker wires helped a bit. Oh and I did replace the 10amp fuses with 20 amps as soon as I got them out of the box (10amp fuses? I changed them so I wouldn't get laughed at.) I recently got some Alpine 10" Type-R subs and these amps will not push them, but if you are building a low budget system they work great. I paid $99 for the pair... GREAT VALUE!!!

Title: Broke after first day of use
Review: After I finally got around to having this amp installed, I was pleased as punch to having a little bass in my trunk. It sounded decent, for the price, and filled out the low end nicely.Unfortunately, the success was short-lived. After the first day (and literally less than 4 hours of use) the amp stopped working. I checked to see what had happened and the two 10-amp fuses on the amp were both blown. Perhaps I had the levels turned up too high, so I can claim responsibility for blowing the fuses (even though I'd think the built-in protection circuit would trip before the fuses blew - which it didn't). [Note: I'm using this amp with the Pyle 12" 600W sub, which you'd think would be a tested match].So, I replaced the two fuses and expected to be back to normal. WRONG. Now when I turn on my radio with the volume on the lowest setting, the amp turns on for a second and then immediately goes into "protection mode" (the green light turns red). This means no sound from the amp. All of my other fuses are in-tact, but for some reason, the amp just won't stay out of protected mode.Given that it's broken so quickly, I'd say stay away.

Title: It works....
Review: What else do you need to know? It's not something that's going to push your subs, it's not going to make everyone around you feel what you're listening to so if that's what you're aiming for I'm going to detour you somewhere else and I apologize...Mine worked for over 2.5 years... Why did it stop working?I helped someone jump their car, I hooked up my end, they didn't hook up theirs right and the surge fried the amp...What you need to know:This is a good amp, nice quality, and easy to install. It lasted for a really long time for me, and would still be going if people weren't retarded, but hey, mistakes happen right?I got my use out of it, and I hope you will too...I used this Amp with the Dual Bandpass 10' subs with the neon light rings around them. The case is gray, and the middle has a clear panel, with four silver plated air holes on each corner. they were 1k watt subs, so this didn't push but 700 to each (though on my review I wrote 500 because I never really turned this amp all the way up). This amp does get hot, please be aware of this, but it's a good product. Thanks for readying and good luck to you all!
