Review: Ford Explorer 2000 4.0 SOHC. Perfect fit, easy, 20 minute job. Solved the issue of my temp gauge reading low.Several things I liked:1- made in USA. Its a quality part, robust, well made- not like the cheap thermostat it replaced2- fails open- the one it replaced failed shut which could have been very bad indeed thankfully it did so in the winter.well worth it.

Title: Great thermostat, worth the extra money for failsafe feature.
Review: Easy 2 minute install in 2003 Explorer 4.0L V6. My original thermostat came out broken in two pieces, this one fixed my car right up. Make sure to buy the Motorad MG-28 Gasket-Seal too, you need it to complete the install. Don't cheap out on a regular thermostat, a failsafe thermostat is cheap insurance against the damage caused from a broken thermostat overheating your motor.
