Title: TRASH...
Review: Thats where it ended up, multimeter shows close circuit no matter how far away the fobs are, even with batteries out of the fob. I always bench test things before spending all that time installing just to find out it doesnt work.

Title: Understand what you're getting for the price
Review: Sharing this from another vendor of this product. The instructions are difficult, but not impossible, to understand. See below for my additional comments---- START OTHER USER REVIEWWhen choosing a place to locate this module I would suggest hiding it way up somewhere that isn't easy for a thief to see or find. And since this is a reasonably cheap RFID immobilizer that's tucked way up in the dash it would behoove you to wire in a hidden direct bypass switch somewhere (I used a magnetic switch so it's not as easy as pushing a button if a thief does find it).The instructions are mostly English, I'd say about 20-30% lost in translation, but easy enough to understand if you re-read them a couple of times.Wiring Tips:-- Red to constant 12v power supply (NOT SWITCHED)-- Black to common ground-- Yellow intercepts the power from either a constant or switched source of whatever you want to control-- Green goes to the device's ground. For Example: if your yellow is tied to a positive source then the green goes to the positive input on the component you want to control.INSTALL TIPS:- Have RFID fobs ready with the batteries OUT before starting- Mockup and then mount the control box where you want it- Wire it up- Provide the permanent 12v power to the control box (if you disconnect the power it resets the unit and you have to repair the RFID fobs).PAIRING THE RFID FOB's--- Once the unit is powered click the control button 4 times holding it down on the 4th time till it beeps--- You have ~20 seconds to put a battery in the first RFID fob (if you look at the board where the battery clips tie into you can see the polarity orientation the battery needs to be set in)------ Once you have the battery in the RFID fob the control box should beep once, now quickly put the battery into the second RFID fob. The unit should beep again and then beep twice to confirm programming is complete.--- When you are done with the programming that's it! just give the unit 30-60 seconds to drop out of programming mode and it should work. Now I don't know how to change the modes as there are two modes listed in the instructions they are:1. Quiet mode: which from what I can tell just needs you to have the RFID fob in the vicinity to activate the relay in the control box2. Alarm mode (this is what mine came set as default): Same as the previous mode regarding the RFID needing to be close to the unit to activate it, but now if you walk away from the control unit with the RFID fob it enters a delayed shut off. Meaning that it will beep once a second for 5 seconds, then twice a second for 5 seconds, then like three times a second for 5 seconds, if the fob is not detected in this countdown time then the unit will shut off.The beeper is annoying and not a pleasant sound so I cut it out and replaced it with a 12v red LED mounted in the dash, I might try and source a car door chimer to wire in but for now, this works.PROGRAMMING THE FOB'S SIGNAL STRENGTH:-- After pairing the fobs with the control unit take a paperclip, find the hole on the fob, insert the paperclip, press and hold the button till the control box beeps. Now each time you click the button the control box will beep the corresponding setting for that fob: 1 beep for lowest signal strength from the RFID fob all the way to 8 beeps for the highest signal strength. The lowest setting seems to work just fine for a 5-10ft detection. I'd suggest using the lowest signal strength that works since that will help extend the battery life of the RFID fobs, and every time you change the battery on the fob you need to repair them to the control box.Overall I'm impressed, probably going to buy a couple for my cars that live outside.UPDATE: This Module CAN NOT be run in a ground switched configuration, the yellow wire needs to be connected to a power source for the relay to function (close) when the module detects the RFID fob.I wired it in a ground switched layout (Yellow from the ground leg of the device, green to common vehicle ground) and it didn't work. So I played with it on the bench and discovered that the Yellow wire provides the power to and through the relay.----- END OTHER USER REVIEW ------Additional notes based on my testing:- The distance configuration seems to be for disarming only - the fob must be 8m (25ft) away for the system to re-arm itself. To disarm the system you must bring the fob back within 2m (on shortest setting).- As mentioned, the beep duration is NOT configurable.- The Mode Conversion is misleading - it is not actually a configurable mode, it is just a poor translation which describes the different scenarios (fob nearby, fob not nearby, engine on while fob away, etc)As the title says, understand what you are buying for this price. If you need a low cost fob immobilizer system and can deal with the lack of configurability then the product seems to work just fine.

Title: Does not work as advertised.
Review: Instructions are incomplete and the section for mode switching is incorrect. Eventually figured out how to switch modes, but it still does not work as described. The device locks just fine but the unlock feature does not work as advertised. 70 seconds and greater than 2 meters required before it finally locks. When it does start to lock it beeps annoyingly for 10 seconds before finally locking. Returned item for a refund.

Title: Es perfecto para los Van.
Me gusta. Lo recomiendo.Recomendación: Comectelo medinte un relay para que lo proteja.EXCELENTE !!!!!!!!

When I replaced the battery of the remote, it no longer detected the remote and I don't remember how to pair it up again. I would love to receive the instructions/manuel of this product.Thank you!

Title: Beware buyer.
Review: This thing came out of the box tiny and after careful testing I was able to determine that it does nothing. At all. Nothing. So save yourself the trouble. Even if it did work its so small Id question if it's actually for a full size vehicle. But it's clear it's for a vehicle of any kind as long as said vehicle doesn't work. In that case it's perfect.
