Review: I have too say am very impressed!! I’ve had in the pass 2 kickers L7 also 2 12 JL ‘s I’ve own plenty of 12 inch speakers with plenty of cheater amps I’ve Ben around the block as I’ve right now I still have a few cheater amps put away i still have 1 kicker ZR1000 and a ZR600 also a few ADS amps ..I own a Audi b8.5 I didn’t want to put 2 12’s in my trunk this time I wanted to upgrade the factory 10 inch subwoofer and a separate amp just for the 10 inch sub.. so I bought this 10 inch and I installed it where the factory sub was on the back top wow it almost didn’t fit I didn’t realize it was tall but it did.. I also sealed everything back there I used my alpine cheater amp as it’s only one Chanel And small amp it’s pushing 700 watts perfect for the speaker..the speaker i got was 10K9D4 4ohms wired to 2 ohms . this set up sounds nice it hits very low I have to say am impressed how it sounds.. some of my friends that have 2 12’s in there trunk couldn’t believe I was pushing 1 10 inch.. anyone reading this that don’t know to much about stereo systems keep in mind that a good brand amp comes a long way and keep in mind I have 4 cheater amps one of my amps is a true rms 1000 watt and I didn’t install that because it’s only 1 10 inch subwoofer and the most I’ll give this speaker is 600 to 700 watts Without blowing the speaker and trust me that’s plenty for one 10 inch this setup hits good in every music I throw at it ..I never owned 10 inch speakers I always went with 2 12inch ..now if I bought 2 of these speakers then I would of used my ZR600 cheater amp I still wouldn’t use the ZR1000 I would only use my ZR1000 if I had two 12’s my point is u don’t need to use a kicker ZR1000 cheater amp on 1 10 inch subwoofer u will blow this speaker ..I don’t understand y companies say 3000 watts on a speaker when true rms is 600 watts it confuses the newbies.. hope this helps someone That doesn’t know to much ..agin for the price of this speaker u can beat it ..I went with speaker because I didn’t want a box in my trunk o I forgot to mention I had a 10 inch kicker 8 ohm speaker with the factor amp before I installed my alpine cheater amp and this monster subwoofer ..5 stars for this speaker good price and well built speaker and very very fast shipping Update 2021 I ended up buying a second one these speakers with a good amp pounds I only had 1 at first I replaced the factory 10 inch to this speaker and I sounds like I have 2 12 inch subs in my car every one that hears it can’t believe the setup I have it hits nice I bought a nother one that’s how good these speakers are I have no complaint I can’t believe how well made these speakers are for the price . Title: Give it a chance to break in before passing judgment...
Review: I built a sealed .4cf sub box, ran the sub for about 25-30 hours at moderate volume (30 watts) for break-in.When first fired off, it didn't sound that great, but as time progressed, the sound became cleaner and the really low notes got nice and tight.Thumps pretty darn good for a 6.5. I've heard 8s that didn't hit this hard.The sealed box really makes the bass notes nice and tight.I'm currently feeding it only about 100 watts through a Fosi mono sub, but being it's right under my feet, I'm not going any higher with the wattage as 40% volume gets uncomfortable.

Title: Power
Review: It’s good for the price but I’m sure the watt rating is exaggerated. I bought 2 and I have a 5000 2 channel cerwin Vega amp with each channel wired to each sub. Amp gain is at 75%. If I play them for a while, I can smell the coils burning. I haven’t blown them yet but I am searching for better replacement subs before I do.

Title: Worth the price
Review: This subwoofer (10" K9 series) has truly blown me away! I usually dont write reviews but I wanted to add some clarity to the product reviews. I kept reading reviews like "Best cheap subwoofer out there" which didn't give me a good understanding of this sub. So far in the last few years I started with a 10" sub with a box from auto zone which was weak and distorted at high volume. Then I switched to a pyle 12" and after I blew that I got a kicker comp series 12" all of which were cheaper than this sub by a fair amount. The kicker was a very good sub IF you want outrageous amounts of bass. What I mean by that is that the bass would constantly overtop the treble. I like bass but it should be balanced out with the music. This K9 series I went with the 10" to try to fix that issue and it certainly did. The bass this sub produces is very clean and crisp. When I listen to rap it can still shake the hell out of the car, but it can also do those quick kicks to the chest. So overall the performance is outstanding. I believe the people that are saying this is the best cheap sub are refering to the quality of the sound it produces which cannot be replicated by cheaper subs. The build quality of this sub is also outstanding, it is a truly heavy duty sub.

Title: Great value, just the right boom
Review: I bought this 15 inch sub to replace what is now two different blown subs. Each of the previous ones had slightly different musical qualities to them and I had had the first one for over 25 years, so was really accustomed to how it sounded. This sub impresses in all the right ways. I have it powered with a Rockford Fosgate amp that produces 300W RMS @ 2ohm which is more than enough to get this bumping hard. I studied a lot of reviews before buying. All of them pointed to the quality materials and construction but warned about running these too hard. My setup appears to be a good sweet spot. Running it on the lower power end like I am easily explains the weaker hit at the extremes of the dynamic range, which could likely be improved with a tuned enclosure but I have no complaints and dont intend to change anything. I have it in a sealed box and all in all this will provide the deep boom you want out of a 15 inch sub, at an affordable price. I can easily overpower the rest of my system with bass notes if I turn this up. And I enjoy the sound it provides in all types of music from classical (the cannons in the 1812 overture) to the old western classics of Hank Sr and the boomy rap rock/metal I love. And it's shaking the heck out of my F150 super cab! I might need to track down and try to dampen out a few new rattles!

Title: 100% perfect
Review: put 4 of these into a 2002 ford ranger extended cab, along with a full interior audio system. the box dimensions i used were 25x25x14”. the box was strapped to the back wall of the truck for seat clearance. powering these subs are 2 Rockville RVA-m3 amplifiers. 2 sets of 2 subs are wired at 1 ohm to two different box wire connectors with all 4 subs firing the same direction. this thing hits HARD and DEEP. it sounds very balanced with a good tune, eq, and low pass settings. i’d 100% recommend these

Review: I already had a good sub that I was happy with but I saw this K6 on sale and couldn't resist.I plotted the k6 in winisd to see how it would perform in my existing enclosure and it matched the old subs lows while having greater response in the upper frequency range were most music has its bass (1.7cft 33hz, 500watt rms).So I broke in the K6 with some frequency sweeps on the bench for a few hours and then swapped out the subs. The winisd predictions were correct , the K6 handles the higher bass frequency's better than the old sub while still able to get low and it's plenty loud for a 10, put alot of 12's to shame for the same price actually.One thing to note, this sub needs about an extra 0.2 inch on the cutout hole than most other subs. Have a dremel or something similar ready to widen the mounting hole on your box.
