HOW TO QUICKLY SETTING UP THE TRACKER?

STEP 1. – Activate Sim

Buy a local SIM card with 4G(LTE) network function and Install the new sim card into your mobile phone and activate the sim card and remove SIM card’s PIN code. Make sure it can make a call, send a text and has an internet connection. Once this is confirmed, insert SIM to your tracker.

STEP 2. – Turn on the tracker

Charge it about 1 hour first.

The yellow and blue indicator lights will start flashing while it searches for a network and GPS.

Please wait 5 minutes in a good reception area (by a window or outside) for both lights to come on constantly. It will continue to flash yellow if it can not find a network. Move it to another location.

Please note, when the device has a GPS signal it will get a GPS location. If not it will get its location using LBS.

STEP 3. - Setting APN for the tracker

(1) You need to know your tracker’s SIM card's APN (You can ask your SIM card provider);

(2) Please note the following operations need From another phone number send text messages command to the tracker’s sim card’s phone number to set tracker's APN.

For example:

APN is: everywhere

APN username is: eesecure

APN password is: secure

(1) If your SIM card’s APN without username and password, then send text command(8030000+space+APN) to the tracker, it will reply “SET OK”.

Text command is: 8030000 everywhere

(2) If your APN with username and password:

Then sned text Command(8030000+Space+ APN+space+ APN user+Space+ APN pass) to the tracker : 8030000 everywhere eesecure secure

Please note: Different SIM card has difference APN. Please apply the above formula according to your actual APN to set up your machine

STEP 4. - Setting GPRS mode

Send text command to the device to set GPRS mode:7100000

Then wait about 30sec, both blue and orange light should stay ON which mean you can now login to sinotrackpro web or app to check if tracker active. (Username is your tracker’s ID number that write on the product, password: 123456)

If you set ok of all, you can track it online. If it online but show China location, then take it to the outside which signal good place to get GPRS signal, when it get signal, will update your location.

If the device is not online, please check device setting, send: RCONF to device,

It will reply the setting you can check in reply:

1. The APN if is correct;

2. The IP and Port if is correct(IP and port are write in the usermanual,you can check if same as reply)

3. The device working model, (GPRS model)

Title: Inexpensive GPS tracker
Review: This little GPS tracker is a great value for the money. I needed something that I could use and feel safe in case the car is stolen that I would be able to track it. This little item at that feeling of protection in case the car is stolen that you can track it and find it. It looks to be well-made so far I’m pleased with it. I would recommend it.

Title: Do not buy - Returning - Defective and or poor Instructions
Review: There is no communication whatsoever with between the device and the desktop or mobile apps. The instructions are not clear. I moved the sim card from ST 901 to the OBD type and suddenly the mobile app gives a repetitious message the immediately appears when you hit the Close X. Tech support takes days to respond due to holidays, vacations and time differences.Update: I returned the defective St 902 obd and replaced with another st902.. I plugged it in a work vehicle.The tracking lags terribly. The historical path is inaccurate.The distance is in Kilometers and not miles. We are in USA we use Miles. I contacted support and they simply said it cannot be changed to Miles.Today the app is blank and isn't connecting to their server.The app has ads. If my network is bad the ads wouldn't show.Some location maps show a China location. I reached out to support to ask why I am seeing a China map instead of a map related to where my vehicle is and that respond was not made.This tracker is not for any serious business at all especially if you plan to have a reliable and consistent tracker and usage data.Sending this back. Support responds after days.

Title: Works with 4G Cellular networks
Review: I have used the early version of this device that communicates over GSM networks. With all of the carriers shutting down their GSM I needed a new device. Here it is. I use speedtalk mobile @$5 per month. Sinotrack provides a web site to view vehicle location and trips but I have not tried it. I use a self hosted program called Traccar to collect and display data (don't try Traccar unless you are comfortable setting up servers and databases though. You could probably host your own Traccar site on AWS)I will be buying this sinotrack device for all of the vehicles in my fleet.

Review: Dieses Gerät läuft jetzt schon einen ganze Weile tadellos an einem selbst aufgesetzten Traccar Server. Es kann jederzeit über SMS vom Handy aus konfiguriert und abgefragt werden und sendet regelmäßig seine Position an den Traccar Server zur Aufzeichnung und Darstellung in der Karte (u.a. auch der Traccar App). Das Ganze komplett ohne irgend einen Zwang zur Nutzung fremder Server oder gar regelmäßigen Gebühren für Abos pro Gerät. An der funktechnisch eher mangelhaften Position der OBD Buchse, hat es trotzdem ausreichend Empfang, so dass die aufgezeichneten Routen bei minimalen Kosten einer speziellen GPS Prepaid SIM tadellos aussehen. Das ist mal ein Gerät, dass zuverlässigen Betrieb mit sehr gutem Datenschutz und hervorragender Wirtschaftlichkeit bei passendem Setup ohne Hindernisse erlaubt.

Fa tutto quello che deve seguendo la posizione della mia moto che uso quotidianamente.Non è molto preciso con il conteggio dei chilometri e non ricevo pop up in caso di allarmi vari ma per il resto funziona bene. L'ho dovuto chiudere in un sacchetto di plastica per renderlo "stagno" e per ora funziona egregiamente.
