Title: Use this when traveling
Review: I like to take this to when traveling, when renting an air bnb, or cabins. Size is good, battery lasts a long time. Comes set up, just need to put in batteries and it starts working. Quality is great. It hasn't never gone off unexpectedly.

Title: Compact and portable
Review: Ordered this for using in my hot tent. It hasn't went off yet but has displayed when the CO2 has risen slightly. Works like expected and has a great, light, compact design. Can also be mounted on a wall for more permanent use at home.

Title: Easy to operate
Review: I got this detector on an emergency basis because our heating contractor advised me that the heat exchanger on my furnace was badly corroded and no longer passed inspection. Although the carbon monoxide reading in the house was zero, I wanted to make sure that there were no sudden leaks before I had the furnace replaced. I wanted a unit with a readout of actual ppm CO. This was easy to set up out of the box. It was up and running in a few minutes. Out of the box it gave the same zero CO reading as the contractors much more expensive meter. The reading display is low contrast grey on a lighter grey background. There is also a high DB alarm. The only unusual aspect is that it uses a CR123A 3V lithium battery that might not be easily available at a local store and as far as I know for which there are no rechargeables.Another factor that lead to this purchase is that I have a number of hard wired CO detectors in place - but do not know the exact dates of installation. They need to be replaced every 10 years. All new detectors have a label that you can write the installation date on. Doing that may prevent the problem I encountered. Given that problem - this detector did give me additional reassurance.

Title: Portability matters
Review: This comes with its own battery already installed, so it's ready to go right out of the box. This is a nice small unit that you can take with you for a bit of extra protection, and piece of mind when traveling. It stands on its own, and easy to read. I haven't tested it with monoxide to verify its ability for detection, but can only assume it will perform as designed.

Review: Gekauft habe ich zwei der CO-Warnmelder, um meine Alten zu ersetzen, und um sie mit meinen Rauchmeldern aus der gleichen Serie von X-Sense koppeln zu können.Zum CO-Melder: Der Melder ist von durchschnittlicher Größe. Auf der Vorderseite gibt es ein Display, dass den CO Wert Anzeigt, bei Bedarf und im Alarmfall mit blauer Hintergrundbeleuchtung. Sehr löblich kann man den Wert auch in der X-Sense App auf dem Handy sehen, wenn der Melder über die Basisstation verbunden ist. Dazu gibt es noch einen Test/Stummschalter.Der Melder kann entweder mit Hilfe der mitgelieferten Schrauben (2 Stück) und Dübeln wandmontiert werden, oder man stellt in auf eine ebene Fläche. Er bleibt dank kleiner "Füsse" im Gehäuse stabil stehen. Die Anleitung gibt wichtige Hinweise zur optimalen Platzierung des Melders in Abhängigkeit der verschiedenen Anwendungsfälle.Eine positive Eigenschaft des Melders ist eine vorgesehene Lebensdauer von 10 Jahren, also einige Jahre mehr als viele andere CO-Melder. Eher neutral bis negativ finde ich die Tatsache, dass eine CR123 Litium Batterie verwendet wird. Negativ, weil man keine Akkus einsetzen kann. Dies wird jedoch durch eine wesentlich längere Haltbarkeit als bei AA Batterien ausgeglichen, und hier im Laden sind sie auch recht erschwinglich, darum ist meine Einstellung hierzu letztendlich neutral.Der Piepston ist wirklich laut, viel lauter als es 85dB vermuten lassen würden. Beim Batterieeinlegen gibt es einen kleinen Piepser, und da man den Melder da ja noch in der Hand hat, ist er relativ nahe den Ohren - dass tut schon fast weh. Sollte wirklich jeden normalhörigen auch aufwecken können.Das X-Sense Pro Connected SystemDer Melder passt perfekt in das System, für dass es auch Rauch- und Wassermelder, sowie Temperatur/Luftfeuchtigkeitssensoren gibt. Die Anmeldung ist sehr einfach. In der App auf dem Handy auf Sensor hinzufügen drücken, dann den CO-Melder aus der Liste auswählen, und anschliessend 2 Mal auf die Testtaste auf der Vorderseite des Melders klicken. Dabei nicht mehr als 1-2m von der Basisstation entfernt sein. Wenns nicht klappen sollte, oder man den Sensor wieder entkoppeln will, einfach 4 Mal klicken. Bei mir hat es stehts auf Anhieb geklappt.Wenn der CO-Melder auslösst, gibt er 4 Piepser von sich, gefolgt von einer Pause von knapp 6 Sekunden. Wenn im System ein Rauchmelder auslösst, piepst es 3 Mal und dann 4 Sekunden Pause. Es piepen jeweils alle CO- sowie Rauchmelder mit dem Signal, dass zum Ereignis passt. Damit weis man auch sofort, was für ein Alarm es ist und wie man sich verhalten soll.Die Melder können entweder über den Testschalter, an der Basisstation oder der App stummgeschaltet werden. Und zwar alle. Der Auslösende Sensor blinkt noch 9 Minuten nach und wird in der App angezeigt, so dass man in ausfindig machen kann, wenn man mehrere im System hat.

Review: Un bel prodotto. Nulla da scrivere sulla sua estetica, che risulta essere molto sobria e quasi invisibile nell'arredamento. Io l'ho scelto per la sua convenienza economica dato che, essendo un prodotto destinato alla sicurezza, deve intervenire in caso di problemi, non di normalità e quindi ho considerato che anche gli altri, più costosi fanno la stessa cosa ma con meno design. Appena acceso, il rilevatore, ha fatto un test completo, quasi spaccandomi i timpani, dato che non mi aspettavo assolutamente che il cicalino fosse cosi potente, e poi il display ha cominciato ha visualizzare la quantità di monossido nella stanza che ovviamente è zero. Tutto qui. Di solito questi apparecchi non devono essere esposti in prossimità delle canne fumarie per non danneggiarli visto che sono molto sensibili e una volta intasati i sensori sono praticamente inutilizzabili. Io l'ho sistemato nella camera da letto e mi sento più tranquillo. Ho speso tranquillamente questi soldi perché quando arrivano i guai non li vedi ma soprattutto non li senti.
