Title: Nice product
Review: Like: easy to assemble, very sturdy.. the handle makes it easy to move around, my wife likes it.Con: the tension control knob did not adjust the belt. I took it apart, there is a pivot arm that was attached to firmly to the frame that would not allow the spring controlled arm to return to the minimum setting.. I adjusted the pivot bolt and now it works fine..

Title: Not exactly a rigorous workout....but better than nothing
Review: My wife has some mobility challenges and finds it difficult to maintain leg strength and muscle tone. Walking presents a challenge as she is a fall hazard. So, I bought the Portable Mini-Pedal Exercise Cycle to help her work her leg muscles. Assembly was not terribly difficult. You have to interpret a few things on the instructions or have at least a modicum of mechanical ability to get it together correctly the first time. The two biggest drawbacks to the system are: (1) the ability to increase tension on the pedals to get a little harder work out is accomplished by tightening down a knob on the crank that has the pedals attached. Basically using guesswork to crank the knob tighter to gain resistance. I'm guessing the end of the bolt attached to the knob that makes contact with the crank is metal on metal down in the housing. How long will that take to wear out? (2) The whole device will slide away from the person using the device. It is lightweight and the two base pieces have rubber end caps that are to make contact with the floor and hopefully hold it in place so you aren't pushing it ever further away as you exercise. Sadly...that is exactly what happens. You are slightly reclined on a chair with your legs stretched out and feet on the pedals held in place by plastic straps. As you push to make the crank turn, the device will.... if not anchored to the floor...slip further and further away or begin to cant sideways. You'll need a sandbag or something that you can use to weight the device down or it will get away from you and make you stop exercising in order to re-position the device back where you started. The rubber grips on the ends of the bases will do a bit better on textured carpet than it does on tile, slick concrete or hard wood. The little AAA battery powered computer records calories burned, time, repetitions per minute and total repetitions you performed. Good enough, I guess. Being realistic, I didn't expect a "Peloton" or "Nordic Trac" quality of device for $40.00. Just a bit disappointed that the device will slide away from the exerciser and setting the tension/resistance wasn't as good as I expected. If you figure out workarounds for anchoring it in-place and can get the resistance knob cranked down to give you the rigor you want for your workout, your're in business.

Title: Totally worthless
Review: I ordered this and thought it would be a pretty good workout for someone who has never exercised before. Trying to get it to stay still while in use is impossible. I even put my kid's filled toy box against it and it still moved. Finally I had no other choice than to push it up against a wall. The display that is supposed to show calories, minutes etc falls off several times while in use and even when it does stay on it will automatically reset itself. The other day I looked at it and it was reading 25:04 minutes. I pedaled for about another minute or two and looked down and it read 1:08 minutes. So it has reset itself several times.. The knob that controls the tension will not stay tight at all and continues to loosen as you pedal, making it a totally worthless workout b/c there is no tension at all. Finally today as I was pedaling and having to stop every 45 seconds (no lie) to tighten the knob, I noticed black pieces of plastic falling out from between the knob and the part it rests on. For whatever reason it is chewing itself up inside the controls and dropping black plastic and dust all over the floor. I am done with this. What a total waste of my money. I am calling the company now. Hopefully I can get my money back or something.. but be forewarned- SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

Title: Nifty exercise mini-bike
Review: This mini-bike is a perfect exercise machine if you are desk bound for hours behind a computer screen. I use it to keep me moving since my work puts me behind a computer screen every day for 7 hours. it's easy to use the bike and use the computer at the same time which is not possible with a treadmill or an elliptical machine. It surely won't replace both of these equipments but it's a great add-on for busy days.Pros:- Light though stable on the floor (I have wood floors)- effective as it kept me moving almost all of the time I was behind a computer screen (including while writing this review)Cons:- Battery for the tracking computer is not included and no information is listed in the manual for the type of battery needed (LR44) Energizer 357BP-3 Watch/electronic BatteriesI got two of these mini-bikes one for me and another for my elderly parents to help them keep active during Minnesota winter 🙂

Review: This product can be annoying as even with the rubber feet it still crawls across both hard floors and carpet, so have to find something to wedge it against, which limits where I can use it. Also cannot use it when sitting at a desk. I still haven't figured out the counter as it only displays 2 numbers that I can see, so it is just about useless.

However, some customers have reported that the device slides away from the exerciser and their feet keep slipping off the pedals. They also dislike the tension.
