Review: Amazing product, very well and efficiently engineered, I would definitely recommend this product. I am not sure how durable it will be but I am assuming it will last based on the manufacturing quality, materials and lack of breakable parts like the broken one I had from Hoover.-Pros-- Lots of sucking and scrubbing power, carpet, human or pet hair doesn't tangle- Simple and not too many parts to break, very well engineered.- Large tank to clean a very large family room or 2-3 normal size rooms per load- Easy to fill and clean, it has a clip that holds the brush assembly for easy cleaning, suction conducts easy to clean as well.- Slim profile, but no you can't stick it under your bed you need to move furniture. Takes longer to prep and move furniture than to clean rooms- Very quick and efficient if you follow instructions and use common sense.- Folds for easy storage-Cons-I can't think of anyTips- Buy good cleaning soap compatible with this cleaner- Completely clear the room, use "furniture movers" to move furniture around easily. The large round plastic with rubbery material are the best.- Follow manual and instructions, use common sense or watch online YouTube videos if you lack it or to learn from others that do it more efficiently. Being lazy will make you work more and less efficiently, and complain about a product when the issue is your bad technique- Pass through the same line once to add solution and 2 to 3 times to brush and suck moisture, continue until top clear sucking canal doesn't show soapy water coming through- Use hot water with a good solution-Clean all brushes and conducts every time you refill otherwise you will see hair balls popping out if you have pets or hairy kids, just kidding- Imagine a path to best cover the room without walking through cleaned areas, you want carpet fibers pointed up for best drying- Clean carpet when the air is dry, I do it in the winter and turn the heat up a little in the areas I'm cleaning- Use fans and area heaters to help drying rooms, create a flow pulling the air out of the room- Watch the clear top suction canal and continue to pass the cleaner until there are no signs of soapy waterGood luck!

Review: I don't do that many reviews but this machine warrants a comment. I have carpeting that has seen better days, but the cost and time and hassle of putting in new is just not something my life allows right now. I have had carpet cleaning companies in and the carpet never looked much improved after they were done. I chalked it off to old age. Even great quality carpeting has a limit on life. I figured I would rent a machine and spend some time doing the carpet cleaning right. Lots of reviews on the Bissel BigGreen Commercial enticed me to look up buying instead of renting as I have a pretty large house. Bought it and just got done doing half the house and WOW!!!! I can't believe how great it came out. This sucker works!!!! Easy to use. Extracts A TON of dirt. I have cats, a fair amount of foot traffic and old stains and this baby just got it all out. I am turning around now and buying the attachments to tackle my stairs. Great machine. Good price and if you start figuring out the cost of renting somewhat regularly, it just makes more sense to buy. The Bissell 4x Pro Max cleaning solution worked really well and has a nice fragrance. I did add a couple of tablespoons of Borax with each load per suggestions I had read in reviews. This also extracts most of the moisture and my carpets dried REALLY FAST! I was a sceptic, but, don't hesitate. This machine is a winner!

Review: The BigGreen arrived a week after I had just washed the carpets using our old household carpet cleaner, so I thought I'd give it a try in our daughter's room. When I went to empty the BigGreen in the bath tub, I was amazed at how dirty our carpet was. While the BigGreen does an excellent job of cleaning our carpets, there are a few Pros and Cons to the BigGreen:Pro: - Tanks very easy to fill, empty, and clean - Brushes on the bottom very easy to remove and clean - Power cord can easily be changed (long yellow extension cord that is included with the BigGreen) - Handle folds down for easy storage - And of course, nice clean carpetsCons: - No accessories included. So, if you plan on cleaning your car or if you have carpets on your stairs, you will need to purchase the hose separately. - Heavy - I found it difficult to maneuver Okay if you are just going backwards and forwards, turning is difficult and sometimes feels like the whole thing is going to tip over (especially if the top tank is full and bottom one is empty).In conclusion, this is the same carpet cleaner you see available for rent at many retail stores. It does an excellent job of cleaning carpets, and is a very good investment for anyone who has pets or kids and want to keep their carpet clean. I've used this a number of times for those "accidents" on the carpet. Very easy to setup and put away.

Review: I've had this machine for at least 2 years now and I have to say its awesomeThis simply just works!I have 2 dogs, a golden and an Irish wolfhound. If anything can be a test for a carpet cleaner, a couple dogs rate right up there with young children!Works great! Could almost suck the colour out of a marble!The only problem was today the flow indicator started spraying cleaning fluid out of it.took it apart and had to reglue the plastic housing.A wee bit of epoxy glue and we're back in business. (side note, 5-minute epoxy really means that it takes 5 minutes of working time and 24 hours of curing time a So that meant a beer break for a day )If you really want a carpet cleaner that sucks the dirt out of your carpet, Look no more!

Review: I used my machine today and I am amazed how great it works. I used to own another brand before but there is no comparison. It is a bit heave but the pay off is that it really dries the carpet well. In a couple of hours my carpet was dry. Considering it is winter that is pretty impressive.
