Title: Super style and function
Review: Full disclosure: I am a paralyzed traveler. I need a carry-on that is rock solid in terms of functionality and durability. I’ve used this luggage extensively in the six months that I’ve owned it. My limited mobility makes me hard on my luggage. I bought this product to replace a very expensive Hartman carry on. I also a big T. Anthony fan/purchaser. I have high standards. I’m blown away by this item, especially given its v affordable price point. There is a lot of great to say about this luggage:First, it is perfectly designed in that there are two outside pockets that are perfect for carrying a billfold, cell phone, etc. They do not interfere with being able to open the luggage completely or partially in terms of accessing the main storage area. This is quite clever.Second, inside, it is super sturdy with an interior metal frame. The wheels are super solid and roll well with little resistance. Nice touches include a large dedicated pocket for dirty laundry and a separate toiletries pocket. U won’t need to pack a separate dop kit (saving space). The telescoping handle works well. If I had one improvement in the design, it would be to allow this handle to lock before full extension.I lock my luggage when I leave my hotel room. The zippers have holes at the end to facilitate this. I also like that the handle for carrying the luggage horizontally, is exceptionally strong and perfect for my lock so that I may store it under my bed to lock it to the bed frame.Last, I purchased mine in Royal Navy blue. I must say with the Swiss flag in red and white, it is stylish indeed! I very much look forward to packing it and loading it for my next adventure. Also, I am not a paid reviewer or so-called influencer. Just a happy customer.

Title: So glad I decided on this suitcase
Review: I waffled over whether this was a necessary purchase because we have quite a bit of luggage, but I am so glad I took the plunge. I finally realized that packing a large suitcase is just too heavy and unwieldy, not to mention that it just encourages over packing. I considered getting the carry on sized bag, but these days there’s no guarantee you will find room in the overhead compartments and it’s a little too small for my needs anyway. This medium sized bag holds a shocking amount of stuff. I packed for a week long trip and was able to get an entire CPAP machine/ bag, a very large toiletries bag, a pair of shoes, a large raincoat, a week’s worth of clothing plus two hiking poles and souvenirs into this bag without even having to unzip the bag to expand to gain the extra space. I got several compliments on the appearance of the bag. I like to check my luggage anyway, so this being bigger than a carryon is not an issue for me. The wheels seem sturdy and glided over uneven surfaces just fine. This is still new and I’ve only used it once, but I’m already considering getting more pieces from this company for family members or to add on for longer trips. The cost was quite reasonable in my opinion and I’m very glad I didn’t grab something at TJ Maxx like I was considering. They mostly carry hard sided cases, and after reading reviews of luggage in general I decided soft sided is what I wanted as the hard sided is more likely to crack and has no give. There are several pockets for organization. I chose the dark gray color and I’m very happy with it as it stands out at baggage claim easier than black yet seems like it will still show less dirt than a lighter colored bag.

Title: very lightweight and excellent design
Review: This is the second Swissgear suitcase we have purchased in the last year. We loved the features and weight of the first one and after a car trip using it and our old suitcase this year, we immediately ordered a second one. Very light weight and multiple packing pouches for small items. We seldom fly but if you do...this will save on luggage fees for overweight bags compared to older bags. The wheels design make this a breeze to use in tight spaces like motel hallways

Title: Works great until it doesn’t.
Review: We had one of these for a while and took it on about 8 trips. On the ninth trip, while getting on the plane, the handle extension would not go down. I tried everything and ended up putting it lengthwise in the overhead cabin with the handle extended. Once at the hotel, i looked closely and the metal “ball” that clips into the opening on the metal extension would not recess unless i physically pushed it in. Then I could get the handle to go down. So on the return trip, we only extended the handle part way so we could get it back down again for the overhead storage. So this recent purchase is a second purchase of the same luggage that broke the first time. We were hoping this one works better. I also have a travel pro spinner and the difference in handle extension quality is obvious. But that was over twice the price of this one. So i guess the old lesson “you get what you pay for” applies here but other than the handle extension issue, the bag was otherwise great. We are hopeful we have good luck with this one.

Title: Wheels seem strong
Review: A lot of people had problems with their wheels breaking and I was worried about this brand because the wheels look small. Upon examination, it looks like the wheels are quite sturdy even even though the wheels are small. I think the biggest problem with suitcases is the baggage handling system. No matter what kind of suitcase you buy those guys at the airport are going to bust your things up. all we can do is hope for the best. But this does seem like a very good suitcase. I’m happy.

Title: Excellent Design, convenient front pockets
Review: Loving these new carry-on suitcases. No issues with these on United or Hawaiian airlines. Even with them expanded we were able to fit in the overhead bins.I love the stylish light gray which has a silver look to it, and my husband got the dark gray. Both sharp design.Smooth wheels and handle, no issues there.Front bottom pocket is big enough for my iPad Pro (I think it’s 11” model). Also was able to fit a book in there with it. The top pocket is great for boarding pass, charger, and anything you need quick access to at airport.
