Title: Loving it
Review: This is the best purchase ever! I use the lid as a skillet, often. Cast iron will last a forever! I've cooked roasts, steaks, bacon, and eggs in my new cast iron. Looking forward to replacing ALL my cookware with cast iron. Excellent even heat, no sticking problems, and very easy to use. It's perfect size to cook with for a small family. I personally love the dark color of cast iron. It's exceptional functionality is perfect - sauté vegetables, bake bread/cake, fry meats, mushrooms, eggs and more. You won't be disappointed!!!

Title: Exceptional Dutch oven at an amazing price!
Review: This Dutch oven pot is fantastic, especially considering the price! I love the large capacity, sturdiness, and even cooking. The lid which can also be used as a frying pan is a bonus. I used it the same day it was delivered, and it worked exceptionally well. Make sure to gently wash it, dry completely, heat up, and wipe down with olive oil prior to its first use. This information is provided in the instruction manual. Buy this!

Title: Bakes beautifully
Review: I mainly got this dutch oven to bake sourdough bread in. It baked beautifully! I used the sauce pan on the bottom, which was one of the reasons I chose this particular dutch oven. The bread rose much better than leaving it open on a cookie sheet and crusted very nicely when I removed the top pot. The silicone handles make taking the pieces out of the oven much easier (I still use oven mitts, but no heat breakthrough). They are easy to put on just before I take out the pan, so they remain cool. I think this will make a great dutch oven for cooking on the fire when we go camping. The price was excellent for what I got and would highly recommend this set.

Title: Good enough for sourdough
Review: The surface of this pot is rough and porous, barely seasoned when it arrived. Not the same quality of the Lodge pan I have. I seasoned it once before baking sourdough in it, but still, the lid had tiny rust spots from the steam of the sourdough. I scrubbed them off and reseasoned the lid again. I have not had rusts since. I will not directly cook liquid food in this pot, but it is perfect for sourdough - heavy, good seal, and cheap (so I don't feel bad heating it repeatedly in the 500-degree oven).

Review: This Dutch oven rusts easily. It also doesn't look pre-seasoned. I had to bake this in the oven for one hour before first use. It's also really rough inside. I hope it does improve, else I'll be returning it.
