Title: Just plain and simple
Review: I have good clad stainless cookware that works well on my new induction cooktop. However I am concerned with the handles hanging over. Since I’ve been using some other cast iron cookware, I wanted new stuff for this cooktop.These Lodge pans are perfect size for the two burners. Handles are compact. Preseason finish makes cleanup easy. So far, I’m finding these are my most versatile pans. They can go into my oven, out on the grill or into the smoker.

Title: This is the PERFECT Baker for Everything!
Review: I already owned the Lodge 10" double handled skillet with the Cast Iron Lid and it is perfect for all my skillet uses as well as serving as a small brazier with the lid. It will bake, but I always thought it was heavier than needed for baking.I saw this "Baker" advertised and immediately noted the lighter weight. After reading the reviews, I ordered this pan along with the "sized" red rubber handle protectors. I am glad I did.Wow, this thing is a baking machine. I have now done about 25 different cornbread recipes worth of cornbreads and this thing is perfect. It takes a 400 - 425 degree preheat with ease and sizzles that batter as I drop my pour. I have scanned the preheated pan with an IR reader and it is perfect from rim to rim and across the center.The weight difference is Wonderful for getting the hot pan in and out of the oven. I have ZERO sticking issues.Preheat it for a pan of drop biscuits or grease it up for a pan of cut biscuits. No hot spots.I did work on the seasoning a bit before my first bakes but only in that I used a can of crisco shortening and layered on a bit more seasoning.You can't go wrong with this one, especially at the price. Get the rubber handle heat protectors for this pan but clip them on AFTER you pull the pan with your mitts.v/r rch

Title: Just what I needed
Review: I wanted a heavy duty pan that could go from stovetop into my Kitchen Aid convection oven. It fits perfectly. The pan was pre-seasoned, and is easy to clean. Great value!

Title: Good addition to Lodge collection
Review: I’ve used a regular Lodge skillet forever, added an enameled Dutch oven awhile ago, then the dual-sided grill/griddle pan, now this. I’ve always gotten good use out of Lodge products, and this is proving to be the same. So far, I’ve used it for cornbread, biscuits, cobbler, and just tonight, French apple cake. All of it’s come out great. The dual handles make it easier to work with and store than the single handle skillet, and the lighter weight makes it easier to move around without sacrificing cooking capability. Glad to have this in the collection. Will add the Lodge loaf pans next.

Title: Cooks like a dream
Review: I can throw out all those pans I have stuffed in the cabinet that I have never been happy with and throw them away. I found the king of pans and I love them so much I bought some for my granddaughter. They cook everything evenly. I'm partial to a good grilled cheese sandwich and this pan cooks them like a dream. Sauces, meat it all cooks evenly and I, who usually set off the fire alarm haven't burned one ding dang thing with this pan. Good investment

Review: This is the PERFECT pan. Saw one on a cooking show and knew I had to have one to my cast iron lodge pan collection. I use it almost daily. I’ve done everything in it but bake. It’s perfect weight, size and cooks everything perfect , every time. The only thing I wish is it had a lid too! They do sell lids that would fit but I haven’t purchased one yet.

Es importante saberlo porque el hierro de fundición muy delgado puede quebrarse por estrés térmico.Para cualquier aplicación yo prefiero las dos orejas en vez del mango largo. Es ideal para el horno (obvio), aunque muchas recetas de pie son para molde de 8 pulgadas, y puede resultar grande para cocinar para una pareja.Es también excelente para el asador Webber donde los mangos largos estorban bastante. Hasta ahora lo he expuesto a brasa muy alta y sin problema.Lo uso sobre la estufa también, sobre todo para carnes y hamburguesas. Sí he tenido cuidado de calentarlo despacio. Es la medida ideal para una “smash burger” porque en los de 8 pulgadas no caben bien las espátulas.Este es muy chico para dos o tres hamburguesas a la vez, y ya necesitarías pensar en uno de 12 pulgadas (30 cm).
