Title: We have tried several, and these are, by far, the best cat harnesses we have tried.
Review: Especially at first, cat harnesses can seem really uncomfortable to cats, and I think that is because most of them have a lot of fabric that fit your cats like a snug vest or other garment. These harnesses are not like that, and they are just sturdy straps with a somewhat triangular piece of material where the harness makes contact with your cat's chest. Presumably, this is to dissipate any pressure (from the cat pulling) across this material for better comfort.We have hybrid cats, so we wanted to get them used to walking outside in the yard and after some unsuccessful attempts with other harnesses, we luckily found these. The cats were much less hesitant and uncomfortable, and they started exploring right away. On the first outing, we knew these were the right harnesses! They don't really impede your cat's motion, if at all, compared to other harnesses. And if you went outside in the summer with a fur coat, you would not want to be covered with more insulating fabric, so it keeps them cooler, too.They are easy to put on, because you just put it on your cat, and clip the left side together, and then the right side together (somewhere near their left and right "shoulders"). It takes less than 10 seconds from start to finish, especially if you have one person to keep your cat from squirming while you put it on your cat.These are *extremely* adjustable, and you won't have to throw it away and get a new one as your cat grows. Our cats grew really fast in the first several months, and we got about six months out of the smallest size. The female will likely be good for life with the medium size, and the male will likely be good for life with the large size. But our cats are part African Serval, so if you have normal house cats, you might not need the biggest size. Keep in mind that the male is 18 lbs at 9 - 10 months old, and he could likely use a medium-sized harness for a while.So, everyone will want to know if these are, indeed, as secure as the company claims. They definitely are. When a cat tries to pull backward, pulling on the leash will tighten the harness, and the cat will not be able to pull out. You can test this out indoors until you are comfortable with how you have the harness adjusted for the size of your cat, and when you can test its security so that you are sure you won't need to put up any "Have you seen my cat" flyers in and around your neighborhood. When you have the harness adjusted correctly, this will not be an issue at all.I would recommend trying these, even if your cat seems to hate harnesses, because they are very different than the several others we have tried.

Title: Wow, this harness is amazing!!
Review: I wish I had video of my kitten getting out of every single “escape proof” harness. First of all, she is 13 weeks and on the small side. So it wasn’t hard for her at all to get out of harnesses. I put this harness on her yesterday and she couldn’t get out of it!! And she actually walked with it on. The others, before she escaped them she just flopped on the floor, probably because they were pretty bulky. This harness allows her to move well and the chest piece fits perfectly under her chin so she can’t get her mouth on it and escape. I was very skeptical because this girl can get out of anything. Not this!! I bought the small and put the straps that go under her legs as small as they would go and it fit perfectly. So she will be able to use this for awhile I think. And when she does grow out of it I will be buying this same one in medium. It wasn’t hard to put on her at all, it’s very safe because once again, she can’t escape. I would recommend testing it out in your home before you go outside for awhile to make 100% sure your kitty can’t get out and run away. And remember, the chest piece is supposed to fit right under their chin, not the chest. I love that the straps are thin so she can move unrestricted and it seems pretty durable! This is by far the best kitten item I have bought!! Now what to do with the three others that DONT work….

Title: Pretty Good, but Do Your Diligence
Review: This is a pretty good collar designed for comfort and range of motion. It takes some fiddling to get it on properly, but it's not overly difficult once you and the cat settle down. Unfortunately my cat can still wiggle out of it. It take longer than most other collars I have used, but she finds a way. If you're planning on taking your kitty on hikes like me, I find it's best to know their limits and the limits of this harness well in advance. I recommend slowly getting them used to wearing this in a safe controlled space, so that they will feel at ease wearing it. Mine took six weeks and lots of treats before we could go into unfamiliar spaces. Also I recommend lots of treats. In the end, I still found the Pidan Escape Proof harness while less comfortable for the cat seems even harder for mine to escape. I use both as needed. Nevertheless, it's best not to rely completely on any harness that claims escape proof.

Review: This has become our favourite cat harness. It is super easy to put on, simple to adjust to ensure correct fit, and extremely comfortable for our cat who prefers wearing 'lightweight' harnesses over ones that are bulky, heavy or overly confining. The Houdini harness facilitates freedom of movement and I appreciate the fact that any pressure goes onto her chest instead of her neck. So far, it has been successful in restraining her from escaping when she has been startled with no problem. Some reviewers have commented on it being expensive, but I have paid more for harnesses that my cat hates, so consider this money well spent (I'm paying for the clever design). I cannot speak to its durability, another issue that's been noted, because we haven't had it long enough yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Review: I have tried a harness with my cat previously and he could escape within seconds. This one seems more comfortable based on where it "tugs" on him and is MUCH easier to get on than last harness. He still doesn't love harness but loves going outside. I can recommend for big animals as well - my cat is overweight, indoor cat and it fits him well.

Review: My rescue cats are over 12 month old so not used to a harness, the girl took to it strait away as she had been in a harness which I didn't like, she could escape, but this one is brilliant, easier to get on too. My boy cat would not let me put the previous harness on, but seeing his sister in this one he didn't struggle and let me put it on him. will be getting another so I can take them both out together.
