The hands on the cover of this book are holding a sum of money. The image next to the hands is larger. Why?
Because, where your money is stored is more important than what it earns.
We have been led to believe that the more money we accumulate, the more financially secure we are. However, which account those funds are in, may make the difference between running out of money, and having more money than we need during our retirement years. The accumulation phase of our life is only a portion of our lifetime. When we really need the money, during the distribution phase of our lifetime, there is very little guidance regarding how to spend your retirement funds.
Confessions of a CPA - The Capital Equivalent Value of Life Insurance, explains a strategy that focuses on the distribution phase of our lifetime. Once you determine how much money you want in retirement, only then can you determine how to accumulate it. This book examines the entire process, beginning with the goal and then backing into how to achieve it. It also explains how you can transform your current nest egg, into a nest egg that will spend as if it were three to four times as much as it's paper value indicates.
Confessions of a CPA - The Capital Equivalent Value of Life Insurance, explains why this is true. It also explains what rate of return is necessary in any other investment to approximate the economic value of a life insurance contract.
When you get to the end of this book, you may wonder why everyone is not applying this strategy. The simple answer is that everyone who understands, does.
Read the entire series, Confessions of a CPA to fully understand.

Title: Very clearly written book on an often misunderstood topic.
Review: I read this book as part of my research on saving for a child's college tuition. Before reading this book, life insurance overwhelmed and confused me. But this book clearly presented the concepts and provided exactly what I was looking for--a scenario based quantitative and qualitative comparison between life insurance and after-tax investing. Thanks to the author because I now have the information I was looking for and feel confident and in control of my personal finance planning. I'm recommending this book to family and friends for their own financial planning.

Title: Provisional Income - glad I read this book.
Review: Short read but packed with most important concepts. Very informative! I learned a lot as a new life insurance agent,. especially on the concept of accumulation vs distribution, and other hidden savings permanent life insurance provides. Bryan is pro WL, I am pro IUL. Nevertheless, I love this book, I read it front to end without stopping. Now on to his next book...

Title: One of the Best Books to Read
Review: This book is not a bad reference, but I've been researching the Infinite Banking Concept for some time and the book that really turned my around was the second in this Confessions series, "The Truth About Life Insurance." The second one has all the information you need to consider this Concept. The other two are mostly just review if you've done any reading at all about the IBC or Bank On Yourself."The Truth About Life Insurance," is one of two books I recommend to everyone looking into the IBC. The other "Financial Freedom in the 21st Century." Read these two and you've got a great start.

Title: Completely blew my mind
Review: After reading this book, I felt like I had just discovered an amazing treasure of logic and practical advice for creating a tax free retirement. I was so impressed I reached out to the author himself, Bryan Bloom, to ask a question about my personal situation. He got back with me that same day, answering my question and then some. This book will call into question all of your preconceived ideas about retirement planning and move you to take action now for a happier and wealthier retirement later.

Title: Fantastic message!
Review: This is a well written book on this subject. This book can completely change the way one views retirement income planning in context of taxation working against the taxpayer. With a lot of debate in the news about fiduciary duty, in my opinion, it would be a violation of an advisor's fiduciary duty to NOT have read this book and apply it for their clients. My ONLY complaint: it does feel a bit skimpy for the price paid. However, this book needs no unnecessary chapters just to make it thicker because the message is clear and concise.

Title: Short book, but worth every penny
Review: I was surprised when I got to the end so quickly, but I'm not really complaining. The book is to the point and does not attempt to rehash his previous life insurance book. It will make you rethink how you look at life insurance (and any other investment). Worth every penny.
