Title: Very rural, 7 miles from Verizon tower
Review: I just moved to the middle of nowhere, northeast central Alabama. Alot of woods and hills. I had only 1 bar of Verizon service outside. It's a solid 1 bar, works well, but inside my metal roof and metal siding mobile home, I had NONE. I could set my phone in the window and get that 1 bar, but nowhere else. I Installed this booster, using an app to point me to the tower, 6.8 miles away. Pointed the outside antenna at the tower. Put the booster in the enclosed patio, and the inside antenna on the wall in the kitchen. Bam, I now have 4 bars in most of the 80 ft home. Only at the far ends, it drops to 2 bars. But now I can hotspot from my phone to stream on my TV. I'm looking into a Internet router to have more permanent Internet. But for now, it works fine. Set it up right, and it will work.

Title: Works for a wooded cabin location with -114 dBm (unusable internet) and boosts to a 'usable' level
Review: I was very impressed. Went from -119 dBM (before booster) to -85 all the way up to -80 dBm at times (after booster). This was for a tiny (800 sq ft) 2-story rustic cabin with solar. Got terrible cell phone reception and could not use phone hotspot to provide internet for my computer.First some info: I used "Network Cell Info Lite" app to measure reception in dBm. Here is some info on dBm, which are all in negative numbers, btw.-50 dBm and Higher: Outstanding Signal-50 dBm to -65 dBm: Very Good Signal-65 dBm to -80 dBm: Good Signal-80 dBm to -100 dBm: Weak Signal-100 dBm to -120 dBm: Very Weak SignalPrior to using this booster, I was getting -119 dBM on my phone INSIDE the cabin, and around 114 dBm standing on THE ROOF of the cabin. I ONLY could get ANY cell service on upper floor of cabin, none on ground level. Pretty bad.The product instructions literally said that if you don't get at least -110 dBM outdoors, this product won't work for you. We had less than that threshold, but the product worked anyway. Cabin is surrounded by tall Oak/Maple. Height of cabin: 20 feet, height of pole with outdoor antenna: 33 ft, height of nearby surrounding trees: 70 - 80 feet? Used a tall metal pole to mount the antenna, which we also bought on Amazon. Also see attached diagram. This product is the Amazboost A2 in the Amazboost store, but on its product page, it is called "Amazboost Cell Phone Signal Booster for Home, Supports 5,000 SQ FT Area...." Definitely made in China and it has those grammatically-incorrect instructions that we have all come to know and expect of products from China. Before the booster, it was a struggle to send a text, and phone calls would break up. After the booster, phone calls and texts (even those sending pictures) are a breeze. i can now connect my computer to phone hotspot and speed test on computer gives 20 mb download speeds. Internet speed test on my phone gives between 33 and 50 download (was 4-13 prior to booster). And best of all, the downstairs of the cabin also gets cell reception now. I was able to connect a tablet downstairs to my phone hotspot and stream The Office. Before, there was NO RECEPTION whatsoever downstairs, now I can stream video.I was very close to buying a different $500 booster, because I thought this one was likely junky, but it's not. It is very good, i think. I totally recommend it.

Title: It does improve my cell signal
Review: I use the booster to get better cell service on our property which sits at the bottom of a mountain ridge. I used various cell app meters to obtain the best location. I installed the indoor antenna at the front of our RV and there is a definite improvement in signal strength using both the phone signal bars and a signal app meter. However, data did not improve. I could easily make calls from inside the RV with the booster where it was sketchy without, but the data signal showed minimal improvement. I had trouble with just email loading. My service is with AT&T and I am in North West Carolina.

Title: Terrible
Review: I never write reviews, but this thing was so bad I felt the need. Amazon should allow zero or negative stars, as a 1 star rating is actually a positive for junk like this.I will say that installation was pretty straight forward, instructions werent bad compared to many of the products like this I have gotten on Amazon. Now the bad, for starters it was missing the mounting pole and bracket, fortunately I had an old directv mount in my garage. Right off the bat, if you don't want to read any further, the thing didn't work at all, not just little boost, literally NO signal boost. No matter how far I put the inside antenna away from the one on the roof it kept "self oscillating" on 3 of the 5 bands and shutting down the boost on them, meaning it was only boosting 2 bands which did me no good and not worth $300. It was over 50 feet from the outdoor antenna and probably 20 feet lower and still nothing. I tried support who had no clue at all. Thinking it was a faulty cable, antenna, booster, etc and the fact that the thing was already bolted to my house and a hole was already drilled through my house and into the attic, i decided to buy another one to change out parts one at a time and it actually got worse, "self oscillating" on all 5 bands, no boost on anything. So here I am with holes in my house and a cell booster that doesn't work, needless to say they were both getting returned.Upon disassembly, the thing literally started falling apart. Cable ends fell off, the metal U bolts and mounting hardware had already started to rust (this thing was only outside for one night mind you and it didn't even rain), the screws on the bracket on the outside antenna stripped out, making removing the bracket impossible, I literally had to bend the bracket by hand to get it back in the box still attached to the antenna for return, the cover on the back other antenna fell off and pieces of the metal antenna inside fell out. Heed this warning and spend a little more on a better booster.
