Title: Convenient to carry
Review: Nice little phone, easily put in pocket and go. I didn't like how texting worked on it. I would rather use a keyboard to text. Other than that it is a great little flip phone with 2 sim chips and a sd card holder also

Title: Activation issues
Review: After receiving the phone had to activate SIM card which comes separately then had to contact Amazon which was step two of a process I did not expect then was instructed to contact the manufacturer and wait 24 to 48 hours which seemed unfair so I do not suggest this phone for anyone especially in elderly person s

Title: simple "dumb" phone
Review: Mosthink 4G Unlocked Flip Cell Phone for Senior, Big Button Basic Phone for ElderlyI charged the battery, easy; added a pre-paid T-Mobile SIM, easy; and began to use the flip phone. Also, easy. This lacks every single feature upon which I depend, but this phone isn't for daily use. It is for emergency use or use by someone who does not want or need every single smartphone feature in existence. In short, this unit will bring anyone who touches it firmly back into the end of the 20th century. So be it. The touchscreen and buttons are easy to use, nice and large, the audio is clear, the form-factor and footprint are large enough to be held but small enough to be useful. I detected no particular background noise or aggravation using this, and battery life seemed to be about what I remembered from the Days of Yore. All in all a fine backup phone for someone who wants to or needs to go retro. At some $50 or so, a nice value for money for what it is.An STG Synergies BTN Enterprises Review!

Title: Bad UX/UI, strange OS
Review: One thing this phone has going for it is that it's easy to pry open the back and replace the battery. That's about it. All downhill from there. Honestly, I could only recommend this phone to someone who strictly uses their phone for calls, MAYBE texts. I had issues typing in a phone number, switching from text to numbers is more than two clicks/button presses, but I understand the most common use-case is to text from contacts so this is perhaps a minor complaint. This phone had no way of indicating it was charging when using USB rather than the dock. The phone has some concept of Applications, but no discernible way to install new Applications, and the apps it does have are paltry.Sure, "old" people are known for their gritty nature and trimmed down, simple lifestyles, but it's 2024. Many of them do know how to use phones and might expect to be able to use certain chat applications beyond call/text. This seems doubly true if they're from somewhere other than the US. I can understand having a simple phone capable of those two primary features, but the fact that it has a software library of apps, give people a way to install other chat applications. If this was some kind of intentional security decision to prevent the elderly from installing potential malware, there is still an in-between solution where you allowlist a small set of desired applications (e.g. WhatsApp) rather than allow them to install random apps from scammers. My biggest issue is that despite the target market being old people who do not want a smartphone, and want something simple that will not cause confusion, this phone has some strange paths you can go down. I credit the OS, whatever it is, for these problems. I've included screenshots showing the menu that takes you to a "My Favorite" folder and the menu in that folder as an example. It's bizarre. "@cstardata", "Filearray"? What? I understand a person will look at this once and go, okay, maybe I'll never visit the My Favorite folder ever again because 'there be dragons' there, but why would you market a simple phone with this in it? Just a strange, unintuitive, confusing UX/UI that can lead people down paths they don't want to visit. I don't like it, and I'd rather give my grandparents a trimmed down Android or iPhone.

Title: Too confusing even for tech savvy people
Review: Purchased this phone for my elderly aunt and it's only possible to teach her how to dial call directly every time she makes a call. Texting is tedious and complicated and unsolicited SMS messages will ear up the little memory available making the phone almost unusable except as a paperweight.
