Title: Fits 5â bolt pattern but may need turned to fit flange.
Review: Bolt pattern fits my 5 â chuck but flange will need turned. Think this should become a standard.

Title: Works well, need to fit to your chuck
Review: No issues with it. I saw another review saying his didn't fit right out of the box, neither did mine. The first thing in the product description says you have to turn it to fit your chuck. I'm a novice and this was the second thing I machined. Go slow and don't take to much off. Works good

Title: Worked great on my new vevor 5" chuck
Review: This was exactly what I needed for my 5" chuck. Had to turn down the shoulder on the back to allow for more thread engagement on my lathe, but it did the trick!

Title: Backing plate
Review: The plate was very good quality and I did minimal machining to make it work

Title: Horrible run out
Review: Really disappointed. I knew it wouldnât be close to perfect, but run out of .0110 is ridiculous.

Title: Not exact fit but close
Review: I had a 5" chuck I had put on a mini lathe and wanted to use it on a larger lathe I just got. This back plate was a tiny bit too big to fit in the recessed area of the chuck. It is soft iron and was easy to machine to fit.

Title: This fit my Logan
Review: My original chuck on my 1947 Logan was developing some cracks around the jaw cutouts so I ordered another one but the backplate it came with was the wrong thread size. This one fits perfectly and it just took a little bit of cutting to make it fit spot on the new chuck.

Title: Improper measuring of runout
Review: The video showing the .011 runout doesnât affect the chuck when mounted on the back plate. You need to measure the locating pad that centers the chuck, not the outside of the plate. That is irrelevant. The guy writing the bad review doesnât understand how this works.
