Keep your personal protective equipment updated with Husqvarna Functional Apron Chainsaw Chaps. These Husqvarna chainsaw chaps contain PVC-coated 600 Denier polyester with Tek Warp protective layers that are designed to reduce the risk or severity of an injury and give the operator extra reaction time when contact is made by a moving chain. The heavy-duty, cut-retardant material is fashioned to "pull" apart and clog up the sprocket system of a chainsaw to slow or stop the chain from rotating, depending upon the speed of the chain, length, angle of contact and power of the saw. Husqvarna chainsaw chaps also feature adjustable waist sizes (up to 38 inches), Acetyl Delran buckles and a felling wedge pocket for gear. Wash this chainsaw safety equipment in cold water with mild detergent and hang it to dry. Protective chaps should never be considered safer than proper chainsaw handling safety procedures. This Husqvarna chainsaw safety gear is UL certified and meets ASTM F1897, ANSI Z133.1, and OSHA regulation 1910-266. In addition to these chainsaw chaps, Husqvarna offers a variety of chainsaw accessories like protective chainsaw pants and helmets, work gloves, forestry tools and hearing protection.

Title: Best Chainsaw Chaps!
Review: I'm glad I purchased Husqvarna chaps instead of the several other popular chap brands! These chaps are somewhat light, very comfortable and can be easily put on and taken off. I usually purchase Oregon products, however after reading some reviews, I opted for the slightly more expensive Husqvarna chaps. And, am I glad I spent a few more dollars this time!1) Easy to use large plastic buckles with nice large straps, very easy to put on and take off!2) Very comfortable, even with the many tools I wear on my belt!3) Includes a thigh "functional" pocket for a scrench or multiple screnches (eg. chainsaw screwdriver/wrench tool), and the scrench can be easily removed from the bottom of the pocket with snap enclosures, if wearing gloves.4) Readily folds-up, and likely small enough for storing inside a chainsaw case.5) Have yet to have any failure with the product. There's a second benefit towards wearing chaps, if you fall, the additional material readily absorbs more impact from the fall. So I feel like a clown while wearing these, when falling over twigs and logs!6) Unlike a lot of products these days, Husqvarna engineered and designed these chaps really well, with the proper materials and within an affordable price range.TIP: Size, I would say the 36-38 inch size is similar to anybody within the medium size range. I'm usually a medium in both shirts/pants, and would say this size of chaps provides an exceptional area of safety coverage.TIP: When tripping/falling while wearing chaps, probably best just to roll with the fall, like a clown does rather than fighting the fall and possibly twist or breaking something.

Title: I feel safer!
Review: I just have an 8” pruning chainsaw, but even with that, I was feeling uneasy around my legs since I was pruning broken branches while seated on a stool after Hurricane Milton. These are heavy duty and easily adjusted to “fit.” I do wish they were a little longer as they look a little silly sitting so high up above my ankles. Happy to have them though.

Title: Black version is a different product than the Orange
Review: I'm 6'2, 260lbs, 40in waist. I'm a bigger guy and obviously ordered the 40/42 orange chaps. When they came in they were wayyy too long and very baggy. I couldn't get them to fit well with tighening the straps at all. After reading some other reviews I returned them and ordered the 38in Black chaps, and these ones fit PERFECTLY. The waist strap for both items can fit for anyone up to 42inches so the only thing that matters is length and bagginess as the orange ones have more material to wrap around the legs. The chaps seem very durable and lightweight. For all purposes these seem great. Can't comment on how effective they are against chainsaws because well...I'd rather not find out.

Title: Easy fit and wash!!
Review: Got these to reply old school FSS green chaps from back in the day.. As part time faller they have lived up to and continue to be just as durable. All the strap and back hooks are good.. I have had the bar wrap the chap’s numerous occasions while flagging and falling from site to site.. No grubs, nicks or cuts on the panels… Get them for your safety!!! Then bill your employer or drop a few C trees and absorb the safety cost!! Also they haven’t faded or tatared …!! ++++

Title: Heavy Duty
Review: I am not a professional logger so I only using my chainsaw a few times a year, however, I just bought these chaps and I must say I am impressed. I am 5'7" so the 36 inch pair would have probably worked slightly better but they didn't have it in grey/black so I bought the 38 inch and they are just fine in length. Perhaps a smidge too long but they just go over my boot a bit which isn't a bad thing. These chaps are pretty beefy compared to the old ones I had so I think it would offer nice protection. So far I really like them.

Review: Bought these as a present for my fella so he didn't lose a limb. They fit him well enough and the quality is grey for the price. Haven't had to verify how well that they work yet, thankfully

Review: The material seems like it would jam up a saw if it came to it. The knees are waterproof enough to kneel on without worrying about water seeping through. The height fits me (5'7") and the waist fits as well (34") both dimensions can be increased for someone taller and thicker- I wouldn't recommend sizing down for someone smaller though.I wish these chaos had more pockets or attach points for felling wedges and maybe a dedicated pocket for a sharpening rod and the scrench. These tools should always be handy.

Review: Pretty comfy for what they are. The open back is nice on a warm day. I don't know how well they are at stopping a chainsaw and I don't intend to find out, but I trust they make a difference and wear them every time I use the saw.
