We entertain alot so I will be using as charcuterie boards both home and on our sailboat. You can personalize with chalk or even paint on them. They keep food items cooler longer and have non slip tabs on the bottom. Very heavy and well made. Great item!!

Title: A great way to serve charcuterie, sushi and cheese - top quality
Review: We do a lot of entertaining so we’re always on the lookout for helpful and efficient ways to present and serve food. These slate serving boards are exceptionally nice and well-crafted. They arrived well-packaged and in perfect condition.While I will primarily use these for charcuterie, they will probably be most useful for displaying different kinds of cheeses, where you can write the name of the cheese alongside with the enclosed markers. We’ve used these once and the clean-up was easy.I had previously never considered using these, but I’m extremely pleased with these and I highly recommend you give these strong consideration.

Title: 8 x 12 is pretty big!
Review: I ordered these slate platters without really registering their size. Wow! These are definitely large enough to use as serving platters. I intend to slip one into a gift tote (along with insulated wine cups) to a couple of friends that go on frequent vineyard visits. Really a nice product.

Title: False Advertising - Incorrect Specifications - Cheap Quality
Review: The sellers clearly states that the dimensions for these Slate Trays are: 11.81"L x 7.87"W x 0.5"H, this is not correct. These Slate Trays are actually less than 0.25"H (thick), they are very thin, fragile and cheap feeling.I find it sad that the seller has to rely on misleading the public in order to sell their products, and then inconvenience them when they have to be returned.
