Title: Reliable and well-rounded
Review: I've tried a few presses and this is my favorite one. Few quick things. It's 1200W which means it'll cook panini's at a good pace. However if you're going to make bacon or sausage, it'll take a little longer than just using a pan - but it's still really good! If you plan to make a lot of meats and cook other things, consider a 1400W press or just other standard kitchen gear like a pan.Two things that make this one really good compared to others I've tried.1. The handle connects at the middle so you get an even press. If you have other presses where the handle is just connected at the top, then unfortunately if you say need to press down a thicker sandwich it'll be a little uneven because of the angle. Sure this one will lift up too but it's flat at the top vs angled.2. The drip tray is in a good location. You may want to pull it out a bit if you are flattening it and want to get both sides but the drip tray is easy to clean and in a good spot vs some others where it is on a corner and makes it a little harder to clean.

Title: Quality is okay
Review: I bought another one last year and it was heavy duty, even carrying it felt heavy. This one feels lightweight when I carry it. Not bad, just not the same quality, so I believe it came from another seller.

Title: More Than I Had Hoped For
Review: I bought this Panini maker primarily to grill sandwiches, which I have done successfully, but I didn't think I would use it for grilling as much as I do. On the high setting, it grills some nice hamburgers. Quesadillas are a breeze too. Clean-up is not that hard. I just wipe it down with wet paper towels. I would have liked it better if the plates were removable to wash though. Lots of surface space too.

Title: I thought I had ordered a small sandwich maker
Review: It's bigger than I thought it would be, but that's a good thing! I use mostly rye bread and the pieces are too big for the maker that I thought I ordered. It's perfect!

Title: Lock broke
Review: I like how fast it warms up, the grills are not removable and it makes it a little difficult to clean. The lock on the side that allows you to put it flat broke after a month of use. Is not bad the price

Title: Not hot enough
Review: I tried making waffles several days on this and each time was disappointed. Not a fan of the shape of the waffles, but that's personal preference vs quality type review. They are relatively shallow and I think I prefer thicker, more like Belgian waffles. The main problem is that it did not heat up enough to give me more than floppy waffles, no matter how long I had them in there. If you like soft waffles, this iron would work for you. If you are looking for crisp waffles, look for one with more power. No temperature control also made this a bit frustrating to deal with. I didn't try the other plates, but thought about trying to make waffles, cook up an egg, throw that egg in between the waffles with cheese, then switch plates to the sandwich press. Would've been a fun way to make breakfast sandwiches, but I didn't want to be disappointed by the lack of ability to control the temperature. One fun thing I tried was putting batter on one side of the waffle plates, and cracking an egg on the other. My timing was off because I put the batter and egg in at the same time so the egg was over cooked by the time the waffle was half way decent, but being able to flip the egg onto the waffle at the end was kinda great. In the end, I'm returning this and finding something more to my liking. It will work for a specific subset of waffle devouring people, but don't expect crispy waffles from it.

Review: Makes a very quick sandwich! Heats up quickly. Easy to use and to very little clean-up. Won't fit most sizes of bread, but I don't think most sandwich makers do. I just turned the sandwich sidesways and cooked it that way. I guess you could make two if you cut the crusts off, but I'm very happy using it the way I am.

Review: Empezó muy bien calentando a todo. 3 meses después la mitad de la plancha ya no calentaba. Me fui mejor por una Breville
Customers say
Customers like the functionality and ease of use of the countertop griddle. They mention it does all reasonably well, is useful, and the interchangeable plates are nice. However, some customers have reported issues with the build quality and heat level. Opinions are mixed on the ease of cleaning, value for money, size, and cook time.
