Review: Fancy graders are nice for large projects but this sturdy grader is easy to grab and tackles smaller projects with ease. The versatility is endless. Very sharp and cleans well. Very satisfied with the performance.

Title: Another Quality Kitchenaid product
Review: I want to preface this with my belief that you don't buy a new item if your current item can still be used and KitchenAid products generally last. I purchased the combo package of a grater with storage/measuring cup and a Manual Can Opener. First, the Grater: I may have purchased the grater this was to replace in the early to mid 1980's. Certainly no later than 1990! This grater, with the hard plastic collar and top handle seems like it will never collapse in on itself, as my old one finally did. It's slightly larger overall and, while space is always tight in a well used kitchen, it stores its own measuring cup/covered container, so I'll forgive it. The container, with it's own seal, is very handy as I no longer have to grate onto a paper towel and then transfer that to a measuring cup. I could say that it stops one from wasting cheese when you grate too much but the "extra" was always consumed by kids, dogs & hubby wandering by and pinching a bit here & there... well, not the dogs, everyone generously shared their snagged bits with them, woof woof 😜 😉The Manual Can Opener: I am blown away by the ease of use and quality of this product. I have an opener that never caught the can edge properly, needed excessive pressure to hold the handles tightly together and usually needed repeated repositioning every time I needed to open a can! As my arthritis has worsened, I often needed someone else to help and watched THEM have the same issues. Anyway, when my grater collapsed, I saw the package with both and ordered it immediately. This opener is extremely easy to use, it doesn't open very wide but, I placed it on a can, gave a little squeeze and easily turned the handle just a couple of times before the lid dropped into the mandarin oranges! I was flabbergasted at the ease of use because I've been using the old one for several years, often got pinched and would just give up on trying to get a lid entirely off. We would pry the can open with something else until we could scoop out the contents. Luckily, we don't really open many cans and, until the mandarin oranges stopped having "pull tops" it was rare to NEED an opener. I'm not cheap, I AM frugal. I don't know where the old opener came from but, I know KitchenAid. For well over 35 years, I've owned a (refurbished) KitchenAid Mixer including many of the attachments and several other KitchenAid products. Every item with their name on it has provided years of service and they stand behind their products. This package was more expensive than most of the others and that's a consideration for some but I'm confident that I'll save money in the long run. Spend a couple of extra dollars now and you won't have to replace the items as often.

Review: Every time I use this I remember the pain using the old model was without the plastic catch container. It also is graduated so you can portion easier. The handle is comfortable and the cutting surfaces are larger and very sharp so be careful using it. Really a pleasure to use and I good price too.

Title: Very large, thoughtful design, versatile
Review: My first thoughts when I opened the shipping box were "wow, that's ginormous". My pictures show how big it is in comparison to my old grater. Once I got over my shock, I threw all the pieces in the dishwasher. They came out nicely. I like how easy it is to remove the rubber gasket/seal grip at the bottom to dry and then put back on. It grips the counter nicely when grating. The handle feels good in my hand during use. I appreciate the thoughtful design of making the measuring catch cup nest inside the grater for storage. This is a high quality grater and I am glad I purchased it. It is nice to have 4 functions in one kitchen tool.

Title: Terrific! Clean with cold water!
Review: Thanks for all the reviews guys! You’re right: It is huge-but so great! Hey, I don’t know if I am the only one who discovered this, but I figured out a while back that, if I clean a cheese grater first with COLD water, then the little cheese pieces tend to wash right off. Starting with hot water isn’t good because the heat just makes the cheese stick to the grater. I hope this is helpful!

Review: Es un excelente producto, tiene buen filo en todos los lados, incluso el rallador más fino si sirve muy bien. Es una gran ventaja que trae un recipiente con tapa, el cual puede tener otros usos. Lo único que no es muy necesario para mi es que sea tan grande, ya que es bastante grande y para guardarlo si necesita espacio. Pero no es un problema, es un buen producto y vale la pena.
