Title: Sharper than a samurai sword
Review: The knife is worth every dollar I spent on it. It is the best kitchen knife I ever owned. The size is perfect. It is the most affordable in its class at $29 that is really made in Japan. Its competitors are priced in the upper hundreds. I am a knife and samurai enthusiasist. I am impressed. It cut paper like butter. The blade and handle is superior quality. This should last generations. See video for proof.

Review: Love this knife for simple cooking tasks. Lightweight yet durable. Japanese quality of steel is one of the best ones. Definitely would trust this brand for other models of knives

Title: Cuts onion like butter!
Review: I got into knives about 3-4 years ago. Since then I've owned and used a Victorinox Fibrox, Mercer Santoku, Kiwi Nakiri, Kom Kom and other Target/Faberware/Ikea knives. When it came to chopping onions (which I do a lot) I started to prefer the kiwi nakiri over any other knife I owned. However, nakiris aren't the most versatile knives so sometimes I'd end up needing another knife. I had heard about Japanese knives and really wanted a gyuto. I saw this knife being recommended in a few places and went for it.Man is this knife good! The victorinox really struggles with some onion cuts (probably due to the thick spine), and while my kiwi nakiri is good, this one just seems smoother. It was sharp out of the box and I just love to chop with this knife, it is my new favorite. I'd say it is a great beginner Japanese knife.Have used it for a week so don't know how long the edge will hold but I'm prepared to sharpen it with a whetstone when needed.

Title: Extremely disappointing handle quality
Review: Got the knife in today took it to my restaurant and I could see through the box the handle wasn't the best. It feels super cheap and light. Which as a positive positions the weight rather well but it feels atrocious in the hand. It's not flush to the base and the pin aren't even real. I'm sure it's a rat tail tang that's just epoxied in, but I was looking forward to this knife I was left dissatisfied. Beautiful blade though and amazing factory edge very impressed if only you opted for a real wooden handle or something more substantial this product would have been great.

Review: This knife is very sharp, but it’s a bit too thin. When you’re cutting a lot of things quickly, it tends to feel unstable, increasing the risk of cutting yourself. Because of this, I wouldn’t recommend it for professional use. However, for home use, it works just fine.

Review: El cuchillo es perfecto para el precio, a pesar de que no es muy pesado, el mango es muy cómodo y lo compensa, ademas el filo con el que llega es capaz de cortar tiras de papel al aire.

Review: Razor sharp knife out of the box with visible display of the 3 layers of metals as advertised. Light in the hand and comfortable grip. Did not give it a 5* as the handle look and feel cheap even when compared to knife that cost 5 times cheaper. Hope that the blade will hold its sharp edge longer with use. Overall happy with the purchase.Note: After a year of usage, blade holds its sharpness well. Easy to sharpen on fine whetstone or honing rod for razor sharp edge. No sign of stain or rust on blade.
