Review: The book arrive well, with no damages or details and itâs legible. But, unfortunately, itâs just another introduction to chess. Itâs not a concise introduction. Thereâs nothing useful about openings, middle games or endgames, nor tactics, strategy or analysis of legendary games. Itâs just âthis is chess, the pieces moves like this, you win if you checkmate your opponentâ. And thatâs all.

Review: The book starts from the basics and goes through all aspects of chess basic in every subject. What I have found very helpful is the chapter on aides, computer ideas and where to go on the computer to improve rapidly. How to use chess engines and servers. Online clubs, videos, articles ect. The book is awesome for under 1600, may be helpful for under 1800 as a refresher course. Good read

Review: Although at first glance, this book on chess seemed 'basic', - on browsing through it, overall it's quite good. The print, diagrams, rules etc, are all VERY clear, and easy to understand. Informative, and easy to follow, with a glossary (near the end of the book), - was a good buy, and worth having in my chess book collection. Thanks.
