Title: I ADORE this cookbook!
Review: I have both Skinny Italian and Fabulicious. They are both AMAZING cookbooks! They are not your "traditional" cookbooks since they have funny tidbits about her show and her family "speaking" to the reader as if they were actually speaking to you. Its really cute! With all that said, the testament of a truly successful cookbook is in the recipes.... they are DELICIOUS!!!! I have made several of the recipes for my family and they have all been a huge hit! I'm very pleased! Skinny Italian goes into more of the history and rules of true Italian cooking and ingredients and why she prefers the flavor of fresh spices and herbs over others and why as well as a ton of authentic Italian dishes. Very educational. Fabulicious is the followup cookbook that has more authentic meals and includes endearing pictures of her family and friends throughout the book. It gives the reader a more intimate view of Teresa Giudice and her family. I cook mainly out of Fabulicious! I believe you should have both cookbooks since both go with one another. Both cookbooks have a lot to offer and give an easy, delicious, and educational way to bring Italian dishes to you table.I do have to warn some customers that there are some "fake" negative reviews on the cookbook due to the show. Most people understand that this is all one sided and the intent of the cookbooks was for good and out of love. Please disregard if you read a surge of negative reviews all around the same time because it may be coming from one source and not very credible if you are looking for an honest review. Like I said, the recipes speak for themselves. Delicious! I would recommend and am thinking about buying and giving as gifts since the cookbooks are not that expensive! Enjoy!

Title: Fabulicious! Teresa's Family Cooks Together!
Review: Whether you think you an experienced or novice cook, Fabulicious! Teresa's Italian Family Cookbook has something for everyone. I am a big fan of getting your kids in the kitchen as early as possible because it is their first classroom. Be it math needed for the amount of called for ingredients, reading the recipes or helping with prep, cooking and clean up - children who help prepare family meals are better eaters and do take pride in their contribution! We now make pasta and breads from scratch with confidence. Cauliflower, spinach, arugula, asparagus and eggplant are eaten by all now without turning their noses up.From appetizers to desserts, Teresa gives readers a wide range of ideas for both every day meals and special occasions. The things she learned from her mother and mother in law, to her daughters and father's favorite recipes to her husband's "Juicy Bits from Joe", Teresa shares with pride that comes from the passing of recipes from generation to generation. My husband asks for Cotto Calamari Rings and Amazing Arugula Salad on Friday nights. My sons love the Prosciutto Asparagus Panini and the Steak Braciole Roll. And every sweet tooth in the house is satisfied with the tasty, easy to make Pretty Pizzelle Ice Cream Sandwiches and yummy Holy Cannoli Cupcakes. This is a basic Italian, family centric cookbook with easy to follow directions and variations for those who use a food processor rather than by hand and for those who would rather have meatless choices for traditional recipes. From sauces to pasta to desserts, Teresa shares her family favorites and gives readers a peak into how she was raised and why cooking is important to her. I love how she named favorite recipes for her family and friends and how she pokes fun at herself about what viewers of RHNJ have seen.

Title: The #1 Best selling "cookbook" on Amazon
Review: It took me a while to write this review because after all it's a cook book so I wanted to cook first and review later. And cook I did!!!! After I tried a few recipes and tasted that old world "like Grandma used to make" taste.....well, I knew that this was ALL ITALIAN and HOME MADE from old school pinch of this, dash of that kind of cooking. Thank you Teresa for this book. I have missed my Grand Mothers cooking now for over 35 years and I thought I would never taste that kind of food agian. It's clean yet full of flavor type of food. Very thought out yet simple.I am looking forward to making some of my favorite dishes Teresa's way because I know mine and they are much more heavy and filling, that's why I try not to cook so much Italian any more. It always makes you feel like you had more than you eat but the few things I made out of Fabulicious were surprisingly light and tasty. It makes you want to cook more. I love all the photo's and stories. You know Teresa is old school and all about family just by browsing through the book. I thought it was an act from watching the show but when you see the photos it changes your perspective. As they say....the camera doesn't lie!!!Not only is Teresa one of the most beautiful women in New Jersey but let me tell you.....SHE CAN COOK TOO!!Thank you Teresa.... LOVE LOVE LOVE you!!!!! Tanti Baci!!!!! xoxoxoxBuy this book....you'll be glad you did.

Review: I love Italian food. I love the simplicity of traditional Italian cooking using Cheap (often home grown) fresh ingredients and this is what I love about Teresa's family cookbooks. minimal ingredients, no fuss, all home made. I have a lot of italian cookbooks from our lovely and local Gino to Giada from across the pond and I do like to dip into their ways of cooking from time to time, but what I love about Teresa's book( and this one is by far my favorite); is the lack of ingredients that go into the dishes, these are everyday primitive and super tasty foods that don't take that long to prep or cook. I love the pasta recipes! She doesn't rely on store bought pasta's, she shows you how to make it. And with the right tools it really is a snap. To make lasagna you need to spend at least 32p to buy a value box of lasagne sheets that makes only one family lasagna, if you have limited money you can buy a 1.5kg bag of flour for 45p which will make 1 family lasagne, pizza dough and ravioli to feed a family of four. that 45p has stretched to 3 family meals worth of pasta and pizza and the amount of ravioli you can make using your one bag of flour is fa nominal in comparison to how much you get in those pre-made bags in the fridge section that hold diddly squat for a couple of £'sMaking your own pasta's, breads and pizza's may not be for everyone but it is the reason this is one of my favorite go to books (though once you've cooked from it a few times the recipes are so easy to remember)The pasta is devine I love making the manzo raviolli with the egg recipe (i mince down basil and put all different flavors into my pasta's now. Lasagna is my Childrens favorite, the foccacia is beautiful and moist and the best straight from the oven, the cavatelli (pasta made with ricotta) is so comforting to eat and very very simple to make. What's in the book:The quickie tomato sauceSnappy red SaucePestoRoasted peppersgrilled sausage and pepperschicken parmigianaLasagnaCreamy polentaStella PastinaCavatelli with red sauce and ricottaperfect pasta dougheggless pastacheesy cavatellifettuccine with creamy portobello saucetagliatelle alla vodkaManzo ravioliBreadrustic italian loaf (bread)focacciapronto presto pizza doughSaladscroutonsarugula salad (rocket)las vegas caesar saladroasted portobello and rosemary saladcapri salad couplingGenoa love you sandwhichchicken pesto paninihot roman pasta fagioligemilli twists wit tomato soffritoantipastoOlive juice bread bathlove me tender eggplant caponatacauli-flowerscotto calamari ringsMain DishesHunters chicken cacciatoreRoasted rosmarino chickenDevil shrimp with angel hair pastaBaked flounder origanoSeak braciole rollMeatballsCalabrian pork chops with peppers and potatoesstuffed eggplant with sausageThe wild sideFontina potato tortaRavishing broccoli rabeRoasted asparagus alla parmigianaSpaghetti with pesto parsley and lemonFeastRigatoni bakeCrispy spicy chicken drumsticksGiacinto's spicy chicken scarpariellosupersize sausage and spinach calzonetomato pizza al taglioLast Min SuppersVermicelli piePookies Pesce primaveraButterfly basil chickenBella sausage and veggie bakeGiuseppe's cheesy chicken bucatiniDesertsHoly canolli cupcakesHappy to see me chocolate salamiPizzelle eice cream sandwhichesConfetti party cookiesSan Giuseppe ZeppoleAntonias tuscan apple tortachocolate zabaglione cakeletsFilomenas Ti amo tiramisu

Lots of tips for home made pasta, sauce. All the basics. And i love the family. In the recipes and tips. Next best thing to being Italian yourself. I read it cover to cover. Will use it a lot.
