Title: Informative
Review: My 11 year old has gotten into baking and wanting to experiment on her own with ingredients. We bought this book to help. The beginning explains the origins of the first chocolate chip cookie as well as the basis for the book (a contest for a local inn for the best chocolate chip cookie recipes). The introduction also contains a discussion of why different ingredients are used. We've only tried one recipe so far which we didn't like - but I think that's what this cookbook is all about! Experimenting with the different ingredients to figure out what makes the best cookie for your taste buds!

Title: Many excellent recipes
Review: There are some excellent recipes in this book. There are also a few that didn't work out so great. Overall, it is a very nice book. My kids have enjoyed trying all the recipes. One son wants to steal my copy of this book, so I will have to buy another copy for myself. As a hint, the best recipe I've ever tasted in the category of "special" chocolate chip cookies is called "Chocolate Oatmeal Roundup Cookies" - with roasted chopped peanuts, peanut butter, oats, cocoa powder and chocolate chips all combined for an "out of this world" cookie - from the book "Death By Chocolate Cookies", by Marcel Desauliers.

Title: Love, Love, Love this Cookbook
Review: I've had this cookbook for years and used many of these delicious recipes. YES, there is a big difference in chocolate chip cookie recipes. Sometime I am in the mood for chewy ones. Sometimes I am in the mood for fudgy ones.Water spilled and my original cookbook was soaked so I ordered this new one. Wish there was a hard covered book.

Review: Pretty good cookie cook book. Great variations on a classic cookie. I wish it had more photos though. The mocha cookies are really good.
