Make your decadent dreams come true with this chocolate-covered collection of more than 200 foolproof recipes that showcase the treasured dessert ingredient--from delicious morning baked goods and pick-me-up treats to rich after-dinner delights for special occasions.

Chocolate may be the most universally loved (and craved) flavoring, and Everything Chocolate is the definitive guide to any sweet treat you can imagine featuring it, for any time of day. Wake up with streusel-topped Chocolate-Walnut Muffins that are easy to make or professional-grade Chocolate Croissants when weekend time allows. Pack lunches with pleasing Milk Chocolate Revel Bars or serve Magic Chocolate Flan Cake or Chocolate Pavlova with Berries and Whipped Cream after dinner.

Much of why we fall for chocolate is because it brings back memories of candy bar snacks and sneaking just-baked chocolate chip cookies while they're still warm (we have the best recipe). We channel the nostalgia in recipes like Chocolate Fluff Cookies and Frozen Snickers Ice Cream Cake. But chocolate is also a grown-up favorite for black-tie desserts--think low, lush slices like Blood Orange Chocolate Tart or ganache-enrobed Chocolate-Pecan Torte (we'll teach you how to get a perfectly smooth coating). The full range of chocolate recipes is here, avoiding the pitfalls of unbalanced chocolate flavor (too bitter or too sweet) or dry, crumbly baked goods (chocolate contains starch and we've learned how to mind it). Become a home chocolatier by learning all about chocolate nomenclature, how to shop for the best-tasting cocoa powder, when you should use chocolate bars versus chips, decorating dazzling desserts with chocolate, and how to make candies and cookies with shiny, snappy chocolate coatings with our shortcut to tempering.

Title: Nutritional information was a great surprise
Review: I haven't tried any recipe from this book (so I might review it again after I actually try them) but as far as now I have only good things to say about it.It presents a big variety of chocolate recipes - from prepared in advance hot chocolate, chocolate brioche buns and babkas through spoon desserts (including healthier options) to more elaborate festive (and not only desserts). And while I normally do not review cookbooks before actually trying them out, I decided I must share with you one thing that I really like in this book - nutritional information per serving size. It is so important! And the calorie intake can vary from slightly over 100 calories to over 1000 just for you to have an idea. This way I can choose desserts for my family and friends consciously. Great job!

Title: For chocolate lovers

Title: Nice addition to the lineup
Review: I bought this because I have been so pleased with everything I've made from The Perfect Cookie/Cake/Pie recipe books from ATC. This is just as nice, though it has less recipes and some are repeats from the other three books I already have. ATC recipes are easy to follow and come with plenty of tips and at least one picture of every recipe, so in general I love their cookbooks. I also appreciate that the ATC cookbooks I have are all about the same size, so they're aesthetically pleasing on a shelf, too.

Title: An absolutely mouthwatering tribute to the Achilles heel of my taste buds
Review: Chocolate is the Achilles heel for my taste buds. Having already owned several America Test Kitchen cookbooks, and being really satisfied with them, I looked no further than here for my definitive source of chocolate-centric recipes. All kinds of recipes are featured here across 300 pages, from childhood favorites and DIY confections to gorgeous desserts ideal to show off and share on special occasions. The back pages showing how to make special sauces and frostings is a cherry on top. The cookbook layout is beautiful, with easy to follow recipes contained in one page and abundant high quality photos that make my mouth water. Highly recommended for fellow chocolate aficionados who want to do more with it than just buy candies from the store.

Title: Not enough Os in "smooth"...
Review: ...for the chocolate semifreddo on page 300. I didn't make the cherry sauce, as my target audience wouldn't like that. This is the smoothest frozen chocolate custard you're ever going to eat, and the best part is, it's made without an ice cream machine. The fudge brownies are wonderful, and wonderfully easy to make.I could go on, but I'll just say that every recipe I've tried has been phenomenal. Does this book cover EVERYTHING chocolate? No. For that, get the Ferrandi book. Is it good enough? Yes. Oh, yes. And really, try the chocolate semifreddo. You may never buy chocolate ice cream again.

Review: Great cookbook. There are reasons why we do everything to chocolate, by melting it into so many things along with other ingredients, it is absolutely delicious. The book explains all the different kinds of chocolate, (and there are a lot), and how to use them properly. As for buying a used cookbook, it was in great condition, only one corner was a little bit damaged and that could have happened during shipping. This book will be used a lot in the future.

Review: This book has been invaluable to me! I'm from the U.S. and really am homesick for some of the things I grew up with as they don't make them the same here in Switzerland. I'm considering ordering a few more for friends.
