Review: I bought this book on the first occasion a few years ago . it was a gift for my two boys who I had wanted to share the tale of the Christmas truce with. I was delighted with the book, reading the first pages pulled me into the story. I am not ashamed to say that it was so beautifully written that a tear or two was shed. the story inspired me to write something extremely sentimental in this copy before I gave it to my boys. wishing that they would grow to understand the meaning of what had happened that Christmas and that they would always remember. I did this in the hope that one day they might stumble across the book again when older.I have since spread the word about this wonderful book and all whom have read it with or with out children express ore at its wonderful message and the quality of the writing .
