Title: Lovely, true to the original
Review: Gave one of these to each of my adult sisters, and one has already read it to her kids/grandkids ages 10-33 this season. The artist did a great job illustrating, and the storyline follows the original. I love this story and revisit it from time to time. If someone does not know "the true original" that the book is based on (The story of Jesus' birth) then that could use some explaining.

Title: A wonderful story
Review: I ordered the book after seeing the stage presentation. I volunteer at an elementary school and among other things I read books to the 1st graders to encourage reading on their own. This version is not the full book. It is a condensed version that is lovely illustrated that is very visual for young readers and concise enough that it should not bore a young reader. I donated the book to the school library after reading it to the 1st grade. I understand that it has been checked out several times.
