Title: Classic Comfort
Review: I recently purchased a **case of 12 cans of Campbell's Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup**, and it has proven to be a versatile and convenient staple in my pantry. Whether you’re using it as a **base for recipes** or simply enjoying it on its own, this soup has a rich, creamy texture and a classic mushroom flavor that’s perfect for a variety of meals. Here’s my detailed review based on taste, versatility, and overall value.### **Rich and Creamy Flavor**The first thing that stands out with **Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup** is its rich, creamy flavor. The soup has a smooth texture with just the right amount of mushroom pieces that add depth and earthiness to the flavor. The **mushroom flavor** is prominent but not overwhelming, and it’s balanced by the creamy base that makes it comforting and hearty. It’s a great option to enjoy on its own, especially if you’re craving something warm and creamy during colder months. You can easily prepare it by adding water or milk, depending on your desired creaminess level. I personally like to add milk for an extra creamy and rich experience, which makes the soup even more indulgent.### **Perfect Base for Recipes**One of the best aspects of this **condensed soup** is how versatile it is as a **recipe base**. It’s a classic ingredient in countless recipes, from casseroles to sauces and baked dishes. I’ve used it in dishes like:- **Green bean casserole** (a holiday classic).- **Creamy pasta bakes**.- **Chicken and rice casseroles**.- **Sauces for meat and vegetables**.The condensed format allows it to act as a thickener in these dishes, adding creaminess and flavor without needing to prepare a separate sauce. It blends well with other ingredients and adds a comforting, mushroom-infused richness to any dish.### **Convenient Pantry Staple**The **10.5-ounce cans** in this case of 12 are the perfect size for most recipes and are incredibly convenient to keep on hand for quick meals. Having a case of 12 means you’ll always have it ready when you need to whip up a casserole or add flavor to a last-minute meal. I’ve found it’s a great time-saver, especially when I’m short on ingredients but need a creamy base for a dish. Each can is also compact, making it easy to store in your pantry without taking up too much space. It’s a **shelf-stable** product, so you don’t have to worry about it going bad anytime soon, which makes it a great item to stock up on for busy weeknight meals or unexpected guests.### **Easy to Prepare**Preparing **Campbell’s Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup** couldn’t be easier. Simply mix the condensed soup with an equal part of water or milk, heat, and serve. It’s quick and simple, perfect for those days when you want a comforting meal without spending much time in the kitchen. Whether you’re making the soup to enjoy on its own or using it in a recipe, the preparation is foolproof.### **Affordable and High-Value**Buying this **case of 12** is a great value, especially for those who use it frequently in recipes. It’s affordable and gives you the convenience of always having a can on hand when you need it. Campbell’s is a trusted brand known for its quality, so you know you’re getting a reliable product that will taste great every time.### **Pros**- **Rich, creamy flavor**: Classic cream of mushroom taste with a smooth texture that’s comforting and satisfying.- **Versatile**: Works well on its own or as a base for a wide variety of recipes like casseroles, sauces, and pasta bakes.- **Convenient**: The 10.5-ounce cans are easy to store and ready to use, making meal prep quick and simple.- **Great value**: Buying a case of 12 offers excellent value, especially if you frequently use it in recipes.- **Shelf-stable**: Long shelf life makes it a great pantry staple to keep on hand for quick meals.### **Cons**- **High in sodium**: Like many condensed soups, it contains a significant amount of sodium, so if you’re watching your salt intake, you may want to balance it out with other low-sodium ingredients.- **Requires dilution**: Since it’s condensed, you need to mix it with water or milk, which can be a drawback for those looking for a ready-to-eat option straight from the can.### **Final Thoughts****Campbell’s Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup** is a classic, versatile product that’s perfect for both quick meals and more elaborate recipes. Its **rich, creamy flavor** and **convenient, condensed format** make it a pantry essential, especially for busy households. Whether you’re making a comforting bowl of soup or using it as the base for a casserole or sauce, this soup delivers a delicious and satisfying result every time.If you’re looking for an affordable, versatile, and delicious pantry staple, this **case of 12** is a great option to stock up on. You’ll always have a can ready to go, whether you’re making a cozy soup or adding it to your favorite family recipes.

Title: Delicious and for More than Soup
Review: OK, I have to have Gluten Free, so this and the Campbell's Gluten Free Cream of CHicken are my G0-To Cream Soups. I use them for a lot of things. I only use them for soup, as far as to Flavor my homemade soups. The one thing I don't like about it, is the Sodium Content. However, when using it, it makes a LOT of servings and if I'm careful about the rest of my sodium, it's not so bad. If you're going to eat the entire can yourself, as soup, then it's way too much sodium. But, to be fair, most soups are way too much sodium. That's why I usually make my own soups, stews and chilis. One thing I LOVE to use it in, is CASSEROLES.* I'll take leftover Chicken or Pork (sometimes cooked ground turkey or beef).* Then add Cubed Zucchini, Summer Squash, Mixed Frozen Vegetables, any types of vegetables.* Mix one can of the Gluten Free Cream of Mushroom or Cream of Chicken Soup and One Cup of Sour Cream together.* Stir the Sour Cream And Soup together with the Cubed or Shredded Chicken or Pork in a big casserole dish.* Top it with either any flavor packet of Instant Potatoes or Broken Potato Chips.* On Top of that, break up a few tablespoons of butter in small pieces all over the top.* Then cover it all with your choice of Shredded Cheese (optional)* Cover with foil and heat in 400 degree oven for 30 minutes.* Take off foil and cook another 10 to 15 minutes, until top is brown.* Let sit at least 10 minutes, before servingI recommend this product and its counterpart, "Campbell's Cream of Chicken". Thank you for reading my review.

Title: Great on toast
Review: I was raised on asparagus on toast and I am in my early 60's now. It's almost impossible to find this anymore at least in PA. I was pleasantly surprised to find it here on Amazon for a good price. I gave some to my sister as well as she can't find it anymore locally.

Title: Yummy soup, not much meat though
Review: Nice heavy hearty soup. Cheesy flavor, but not a lot of meat in the can. I suggest you toss some bacon bits in when serving if you want some protein.

Title: Yummy
Review: I have always bought this broccoli cheese soup in great value bran. I use it in homemade potato soup and in broccoli casseroles. Seems they don’t have this any more. So I ordered this from Amazon in Campbell’s. Same price here as at Walmart. OMG the flavor is amazingly 100% better than the bran I was using. It was amazing. I never thought cooking with this compared to the other brand would taste so different. I highly recommend this brand.

Title: Still available !
Review: Campbell Soups have been staples in my family for more than 75 years. When my brother and I went home for lunch (what a concept!) we always hoped our mother had made some Campbell’s soup. Unless it was a very warm day, we almost always had soup and a sandwich. Over the years Campbell soup was part of our lunch, even on weekends. After retiring my husband and I continued to enjoy the variety of soups made by Campbell’s. We began to wonder why we couldn’t find certain kinds of their soup, e.g. Cream of Asparagus and Pepper Pot. We recently tried to search for the availability of these two and were happy to discover that one of the two is still available. We purchased a case of Cream of Asparagus and are enjoying being reunited with this soup. We still miss the outstanding flavors of Pepper Pot soup ! The very last can of that soup we found in a grocery store in the Caribbean. Yes, it was still fresh with an expiration date some months away. It came home in our luggage and we enjoyed it immensely, thinking we’d find it somewhere here at home to continue enjoying it. No luck. Kudos to Campbell’s for producing so many outstanding, nourishing flavors !
