Title: Like it
Review: I’m a fan of old films because they are relaxing, and after a hard day I can kick back and enjoy comedy the way it used to be. Most of these are little known, but still enjoyable. I always watch The Great Rupert at Christmas time.

Title: A Smorgasbord of Slaptick Silliness
Review: If you're a fan of waggish adult humor you'll love this excursion into a collection of old flicks that celebrate the zany and often twisted indulgences of the adult mind. It features many celebrated stars in roles at the offset of their careers. Some not always the wisest career-moves, but total fun watching them going through the comedic paces of their 'learning-fields'. Of course there are many pre-1970's vehicles that feature stars of their day that are also a hoot. Have never been a fan of Paul Muni or Mickey Rooney, but watching Patsy Kelly, Joe E Brown, Joan Blondell, Carole Lombard, Jimmy Durante, Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell going through their humorous paces was well worth the price of admission; which was only 9 bucks! A mere 9 bucks to also get to watch Joan Collins, Goldie Hawn and Eva Gabor in ticklish roles which you would never have imagined they'd done. At least, I didn't! ^ _ ^ Great Fun! Great Buy! Of course I would be amiss if I didn't mention that the viewing of the some the movies ain't the best -- but overall, the DVD is dang funny and a wholly enjoyable excursion into yesterday's humor.

Title: Another 150 movies have arrived!
Review: Package from Amazon Fulfillment arrived one day after the estimated arrival.Items all in good shape, no damage [in the past, one boxed set arrived smashed]All three are Mill Creek sets; two sets have one-sided DVDs and large, readable titles. The third is a double-sided DVD format with titles on the DVD that are next to impossible to read. Hopefully, if Mill Creek and others continue to release these collections as more films come into the public domain, the one-sided format will be used.As for the quality of the transfers, I'm 150 movies away from an opinion on that, however the quality has always been acceptable in the past and I expect it will be the same with these.Six of the films are duplicated between the sets, which leaves 144, which is okay. My own preference would be for MC to maybe wait a little longer and issue unique collections of highly regarded films that do not include TV dramas and clunker films - put them in special Klunker Kollections of campy movies. In any case, I am now the proud owner of four Carol Lombard films from Mill Creek - that by itself is very satisfying. Thank you MC.

Title: Good Pack For The Price
Review: Great pack of DVDs with some classics and a lot of B-movies. The quality of the recordings was pretty good and gave me different snapshots of various films in the comedy genre throughout the ages. There were movies ranging from the 30’s to 80’s. Not every film was a winner but I still enjoyed the pack enough for five stars (given the price).

Title: Not as I expected!
Review: I was hoping to get 50 comedys from the past. Sadly, only about 15 movies were what I would classify as "Hollywood" Comedy Legends. The rest were unknown European movies or "B" movies from the 1970's and 1980's. Several of the DVD's, that would have been classified as "R" movies in their day...even soft porn have been included with these movies. Not appropriate for children! It does included a booklet, so I have highlighted all of the movies that have nudity, so when my grandchildren come over and want to watch movies, their parents or myself can keep such acts and views from their impressionable little eyes. They don't need to be exposed to Raunchyness at such a young age.. I wouldn't even call it art! Just Raunchy, Amatuer, Porky's,Animal House type slop!

Review: There are some movies on this collection that are good value for the money. I recommend -My Friend, Godfried-Beat The Devil-Humphrey Bogart-Eternally Yours-David Niven-His Girl Friday-Cary Grant-Love Laughs At Andy Hardy-Mickey Rooney-Second Chorus-Fred Astaire-Something To Sing About-James Cagney-Swing High, Swing Low-Fred MacMurray. The quality of these movies at best are ok. Don't expect full HD restoration as these are movies that aren't restored properly but the movies themselves are entertaining. The list above are the best of the bunch as far as I could see.Enjoy these movies and others.
