Title: Good easy/ harder mix of recognizable classical pieces.
Review: I haven’t played for 30 years, but it seems to be coming back to me. I’m really enjoying the mix of songs. I also bought keyboard stickers that I don’t apply, but use for reference when I can’t remember the notes.

Title: It’s nice to get BACH to the classics
Review: I have been playing classical piano for about 24 years now and really enjoy having a variety of music to choose from. I would say this book is easy-intermediate in the songs it contains. If you are looking for a book to start diving into classical music this would definitely be a good place! There are some really easy songs and some that are a bit more challenging, but all are completely doable if you’re able to read music. Personally, what I like most about this book is how broad a library it contains. Anytime I get bored of Mozart I can jump over to Chopin or Bach or Clementi or really whomever strikes my fancy. I have not found any errors in the book thus far, but I am not the best at spotting them either because I often play by ear once I start getting into a song I know. If you want a good all around classical book tbis is the book for you!

Title: Great Selection
Review: It's such a great selection of famous intermediate-advanced pieces. However, I wish the layout could be more suitable for performing. There're several pieces that are two pages long but printed in front and back so I need to turn the pages. Also for Mendelsson's Venetian Gondola Song, there seem to be several mistakes in the score. (or it's another version). Overall it's a great book.

Review: I used to play piano when I was young and haven’t played for 15 years. I only have a keyboard but thought I could play classical music again and I got this book! I wanted something not too hard but challenging and this is the one! I take longer time to play now but it reminds of my childhood 🙂 not for beginners tho.

Review: I am a year into my piano playing and bought this to start learning some famous classical pieces as I was getting tired of the "Old Mcdonald" approach utilised by many textbooks which are geared towards kids. It's not beginner's level. I would say that it is pitched at about Grade 3 and over and progresses pretty quickly to more advanced stuff. Mozart's Rondo Alla Turca for example is here and is Grade 8 on the ABRSM syllabus ( I believe).Nevertheless it's a great reminder of the things I am aiming to play and slowly but surely I am getting better and better at being able to play fragments and even longer pieces. There is a lot of material here and a lot of it is very well known so it is a lovely resource to have at home. I will be using it very extensively for years to come.
