Title: Classical Piano Masterpieces by Christina Levante
Review: This is a wonderful resource for intermediate piano players. I took piano lessons for a year as a child, but decided not to continue at that time. Last year I was fortunate to find a good piano teacher for older adults. I have been taking lessons for slightly over a year and decided to try my hand at classical music. This was the perfect book for me. The music is not too difficult, but it does challenge me enough to help me become a better piano player. It is very satisfying when I learn a piece. The variety of songs is wonderful. I think the best part is the free audio, which is easy to use and very helpful when learning a new song.

Title: Good selection of familiar classical melodies at lower intermediate level
Review: I like this book a lot in terms of the number of familiar classical melodies/themes it includes. Most of the pieces are excerpted from other pieces and simplified from the original sources. It is a good book, in that it lets players hear familiar music (e.g., the 18th variation from Rhapsody on Theme by Paganini) in form an early intermediate player can play with some practice or a more advanced player can play without too much difficulty to hear melodies under their fingers. The fingering is good for the 15-20 pieces I've played.Recommended as a good add-on for someone who wants a selection of classical pieces - Could be a good bridge to more advanced/original settings of the pieces.

Title: Amazing Book for lower intermediate players
Review: I love this book - it’s just what I was looking for as my students approach spring recital. I’m a piano teacher and what I appreciate this book is the clear, easy to read formatting of the songs - it takes classics and makes them more accessible with clean fonts. It also has some easier versions of classics that allows intermediate players to build repertoire and feel good about their learning while gaining skills necessary for the full pieces. The book is nice and sturdy, although you may need a binder clip to keep it open, or to spend some time creasing the pages. It’s a great mix of composers, and doesn’t overlap much with any of my other books. I find most intermediate books to contain mostly the same pieces so this was a nice change of pace. The one criticism I would have is that it’s lacking dynamic markings, which are especially helpful to those learning. For more advanced players it’s a nice way to quickly add some sight reading into your routine. Very happy to have this!

Title: Wonderful Collection
Review: This is a great collection of classical pieces arranged for intermediate/advanced intermdiate level piano players. The notes are large enough to be comfortable to read without straining. I absolutely love this book. The ability to download all the songs is a big plus. The only thing that could make it better would be a spiral type of binding, so the book would stay open without use of clothespins !!

Title: Good book for intermediate piano player
Review: I have been playing piano for about a year and wanted to study some classical pieces but didn't want to spend my time struggling with the originals. The examples in this book cover some of the major classical tunes I liked and is written in a way that with some practice I can begin playings comfortably. The tracks are an added bonus. Overall worth the price.

Review: All the pieces sound great! Especially for the advanced beginner to intermediate player. Usually when you find classical music, that’s easier to play it doesn’t sound rich. I’m quite pleased and so far I’ve had many hours of enjoyment. The selection of music is wonderful.

Reviewer: Tartan Composer, I bought this Sound Saga Cornet three days ago. It comes with a smart, compact carry case, including cleaning cloth and white gloves. Satisfied overall, however, out of the case I noticed some scuffs and light scrapes aeound the bell. This could have been customs & excise because the item was held up due to a cost issue with the co. When I finally recieved it, the packaging said it had been opened an resealed by customs! Last gripe. The tensioning screw that allows the tubing to move for altering pitch, was stuck fast. I could not turn it at all and had to wrap a cloth around the screw to avoid damaging it with pliers to loosen it!!! SURELY quality control shiuld have noticed this before it left the factory! The screw loosened, but will not tighten! So I'm not happy, considering I had to wait almost 2 months for delivery. Be aware of these problems if you're considering buying this item. One last thing, DHL were a nightmare re: delivery. After wasted days, they finally left the item for pick up in a local shop!

Review: For intermediate level in piano, this book 'Classical Piano Masterpieces' by Christine Levante is a 'must buy!With a whopping 65 full manuscript sheet music piano scores by famous composers from Bach, Debussey, Chopin, Liszt, Beethoven et al, the typeset is CRYSTAL CLEAR to read and the paper is sturdy enough for highlighting / making annotations etc.Also, the book offers a link to download the free audio tracks that accompany each tune and explain clearly how it should be played.Lastly, there's also a link to the book's forum community, so...all in all, an excellent buy from the publisher sontigpress.com.I highly recommend this book, however, if there is a downside and minor, at that, it is that the pages are glued in, but seem to withstand being folded over.Finally, a book well worth having!

Review: Loving this book of classical piano music. Great choices from Bach to Beethoven to Scott Joplin. I am a rusty grade five to grade six and am comfortable with playing these pieces. Shows fingering which is so useful. What would be good if it showed the tempo of it such as lento or presto and also pedal notation. Other than that very good choice and you can download the music to guide you along. Would be helpful for the pages to stay open. I have to keep flipping them back. Pagination needs improvement. My friend is complaining I am playing it every day but it is addictive and this is my hobby so I am going to enjoy it. Better than watching rubbish on TV.
