Title: Best bottle washer
Review: You can use these to clean any size bottle. Simply pour them in the bottle, add some warm water. You don't need to fill the bottle with water. And don't use HOT water. You will need to handle the bottle with the water in it.For a 16 oz bottle I use about 1/2 cup of warm water. Add a couple drops of dishwashing liquid. If the bottle comes with a leak proof cap place it back on the bottle. If it doesn't come with a cap or lid, you can either DIY a cap or lid, or you can be careful about your cleaning. Now, once you have the beads, some water, and a few drops of cleaner start slowly and swirl the water and beads around the bottom of the bottle. The cleaner will foam up, which is why you want to start slowly. You do not want to create pressure inside the bottle that might cause the bottle to break. So start off slowly swirling the contents of the bottle, and then work the contents all around the inside of the bottle. I do this over the kitchen sink. Just in case.Once I believe the bottle is clean, I'll pour the contents into a tea strainer, letting the water run into the sink. If I need to clean more bottles, I then pour the beads into the next bottle. If I'm done, I keep the beads in the tea strainer and rinse them off. Then place a paper towel inside a bowl in which I'l pour the beads from the strainer. I'll use the paper towel to dry the beads, then place them back in their container.I find this method cleans bottle much better then using a bottle brush. But I always run just my bottles thru a sanitizing wash in the dishwasher before putting them away. It just makes me feel better.
