The renowned cocktail bible, fully revised and updated by the legendary bartender who set off the cocktail craze—featuring over 100 brand-new recipes, all-new photography, and an up-to-date history of the cocktail.

NAMED ONE OF THE BEST COOKBOOKS OF THE YEAR BY THE ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION

The Craft of the Cocktail was the first real cookbook for cocktails when it first published in 2002, and it has had a remarkable influence on bartending. With this new edition, the original gets a delicious update, bringing expertise from Dale DeGroff, the father of craft cocktails, to the modern bar for a new generation of cocktail enthusiasts. The beloved histories, culture, tips, and tricks are back but all are newly revised, and DeGroff's favorite liquor recommendations are included so you know which gin or bourbon will mix just right.

Title: Perfect for rookies!
Review: Im taking a bartender course at American Bartender School in NYC and my teacher (a man that has over 40 years of experience bartending) recommended this book because he says the autor is a genius bartender, a master on his profession, he knew him personally and said that he knows everything you need to know to be a good bartender. I got my book without even knowing it, but as I started reading it and going through the pages I fell in love with it inmediately! Is so detailed and gives you the basics of every cocktail and liquor! Everything you need to know to expand your knowledge about this amazing world! Also is a really good price for such a beautiful master piece! Can’t wait to finish it!

Title: Full of knowledge & fabulous cocktail recipes
Review: I bough this book for my spouse. He’s beyond enamored with it. The knowledge, history and recipes that this book contains has really helped him study for a bar program; it’s also give me insight about a bunch of facts pertaining to the spirit craft. Outstanding book!

Title: Deciding factor
Review: I spent time looking though the recipes and techniques. I saw a few things that seemed a little off, but was still intrigued in what I could learn from this book. But when I came to the Old Fashioned recipe stating to muddle cherry and orange, I knew it was game over. NO.

Review: I read Cocktail codex before, the knowledge is relatively similar but I preferred Cocktail Codex’s approach. There’s a lot of recipes in this book (almost 75% of the book).
