Review: Mandy is a fantastic teacher! Her cakes may look a little busy to make, but she explains everything so well, you will be making every cake in this book in no time!Ingredients are super easy to find and use. Follow step by step and you will be making her gorgeous and delicious cakes, too!

Title: Love love love!!
Review: I have her first book, which I absolutely love, and so I knew I needed to get the second one! Omg, it's not only filled with even more recipes and beautiful cakes, but the photos are gorgeous and the flavor combos are incredible! I love that she includes more cakes with fillings in this book than her first (lots of yummy curds and homemade fillings!). As a result, some of the recipes are a little bit more time consuming, so if you are new to cakes, I do recommend getting her first book as well (though there are certainly simple cakes in here too and a few repeats from her first book). I love that it's sectioned out by season. So many new flavors and I've been having so much fun trying them! I have yet to be disappointed with any one of her cakes! Buy the book, you won't regret it!

Review: Everything Mandy creates is amazing. These recipes allow anyone of any skill level to create a stunning, mouthwatering, dessert. Cake after Birthdays used to go to waste in our home and that is no longer the case.My kids are pouring over this book like it's the next best novel. They've each decided which cake they want to try next or which one they want for their Birthday.The best part is you can turn any recipe into gourmet cupcakes, or a pan dessert to take to an event.A must have in your home kitchen.

Title: Good for modern decorating ideas and beginner bakers
Review: Easy recipes, but they all use box mixes. I was looking for from scratch cake recipes. She also goes over techniques that are good for beginners to get the hang of. That is her selling point “taking the guesswork out of baking” I was just looking for something much different.

Review: I have made a couple recipes from this book and they have all been great! I am not a very good baker but this book makes the recipes easy to follow. The book itself is high quality; the paper is thick. If you are a mediocre baker but you want to make elevated cakes this is the book for you!

Title: One of the BEST cake cookbooks out there!
Review: I have both of her recipe books and they are both incredible! I have made TONS of the cakes, fillings, and frostings from both books and there has not been one that wasn’t phenomenal!!She not only walks you through the baking process but she also walks you through the decorating process on how to make them so beautiful.If you love to bake cakes these are must have books for your kitchen!I read through a few of the negative reviews because I couldn’t possibly figure out what negative things one could even come up with about Mandy and her recipes. The only negative remarks were the fact a cake mix is used in her recipes. Yes I’m sure Mandy is more than talented enough to not use a mix but as she states in her book, it’s an easy and quick way to have those ingredients perfectly measured for you. It’s all the other ingredients that she adds to it that make her recipes so incredible. It’s clear those people have not actually tried any of the recipes or they would know they don’t taste like a standard box cake.

Review: Je suis mitigée par rapport au livre. Les points positifs : il y a beaucoup de recettes, bien illustrées, photos de qualités. Mais les mesures sont en cup, c'est le jeu avec les livres américains donc ça, ça va encore. Mais dans toutes les recettes de gâteau se sont des boîtes de préparations à gâteaux, en france on a pas un choix immense et de plus on sait que ce n'est pas les mêmes marques qu'il les fabrique. De plus, d'un pays à un autre les ingrédients qui compose ces boîtes diffèrent. On aura sûrement pas le même rendu. Surtout que ça coûte cher ces boîtes toutes préparées. Je le garde parce que les recettes de crème au beurre et des garnitures sont faisable. Donc pour quelqu'un qui vit en France je sais pas si il est indispensable. A vous de faire votre choix.
