Title: Good machine but presents me with a lerning curve
Review: Well made, easy to use the controls. There are some quirks...cannot change the grind setting with beans in the machine, thus making the fine tuning difficult. Going from a machine that expelled the coffee grounds in pellet-form automatically, o0ne has to remember to empty the filter basket each brew. The coffee experiments so far say that the coffee will be good once all is set. Each try tastes clean and fresh. Now, after two days of experiments, I am close to the perfect cup of coffee (for us). So far, now, the machine works very well.

Title: A great drip coffee/grinder with many options
Review: I like that the grinder is burred. It has many levels of grinding your whole beans. You can absolutely still use ground coffee if you want. Easy to use and program. The coffee I’ve made taste really good and I love the warming plate. The machine is tall if you have uppers for cabinets they may get in the way from the countertop. The water reservoir is in the back of the machine and awkward to fill unless you fill from an open counter.Overall I love the look and function of the coffee maker and I think going back to drip is healthier then the plastic pods.

Title: Good coffee
Review: Bottom line, this machine makes good coffee. The grinder works well, the instructions are simple and easy to understand. The aroma of the coffee is wonderful and tastes just as good. The reusable filter is nice and I haven’t had any grounds in my coffee. The only negatives I have are the machine materials feel very cheap. The buttons feel very cheap, like they could fall off any moment. Most of the material feels like cheap plastics.Again, this machine does well, it makes a great cup of coffee and bottom line, that’s the important part. Good value for the cost.

Title: Best Coffee Maker with Grinder for Me
Review: This is my third coffee maker with grinder and my favorite thus far. My first was a Gourmia Grind and Brew and I would rank second best. It kept my coffee hot, was easy to clean, and allowed me to alternate roasts of coffee. However its design let grounds get into the pot, and I was drawn to the Breville Grind and Brew. I have a separate review there. Suffice it to say I returned the product. As for the Gevi Drip Coffee Maker with Grinder, the design of the burr grinder and bin allows me to measure the roast of beans I want for that pot without dealing with beans left from the previous pot. It's the easiest to clean of the three I've owned. It allows me all of the flexibility I want without paying for features and functionality that don't live up to their potential. While the heating plate isn't as effective as the Gourmia, it is much more effective than the thermal carafe of the Breville.Yes, the clock is 24 hour rather than 12 am/pm. However, with the microwave, stove, and other devices, the coffee pot is the last device I turn to for the time! And it has no impact on setting the brew timer, which I don't use.In my judgment, this coffee maker is a very good value.

Title: Attractive, good grind when it does it, but not good enough coffee.
Review: We needed to replace a 15+ year old Cuisinart. As I grind my beans anyway, I thought a machine with a built in grinder was a good idea. The machine is rather attractive and sits under my kitchen cabinets with room to spare. I could use my retractable kitchen faucet to fill the reservoir. The carafe is flimsy and I would prefer an insulated one anyway as even 15 minutes in an open carafe on a warming burner causes bad coffee. The machine comes with a conical coffee scoop and cleaning brush. Instructions for cleaning the area where the grinds exit is not really clear & I had to use a flashlight to see underneath the brewing area. The grinder is not abnormally loud and the notification beeps are very soft.Upon arrival I cleaned the machine according to directions using white vinegar and rinsing multiple times. I weighed out 60 grams of coffee beans for 8 cups water (we like ours full bodied) and this was approximately how much we used in the Cuisnart. I set the machine 8 cups, medium grind (3rd setting) bloom and strong setting. The machine only ground some of the beans. After the brewing was done the coffee was extremely weak. I tipped out the remaining beans, weighing them and found that the machine had ground just over half of the original amount. So I tried another pot doing all the same as above but stopped the machine immediately after it stopped grinding the beans, which was again, only about half of the beans. (The ground beans looked about right for the setting, so the machine seems to grind to appropriate sizes.) I then re-started the machine and it ground the remaining beans and brewed the pot. This time the coffee was more acceptable but this is not a morning routine that I would like to have. (Weighing the beans is always more accurate than volume in a scoop.) The machine says to keep under 70 grams of beans so that the basket does not overflow so making a full pot, 10 cups, would not be possible to make with sufficient coffee grounds for us. The machine should not only let you choose the grind but the number of grams to be ground. We are returning the pot and will go back to grinding our own beans. Now just to test another machine, which we have ordered.

Title: Not what it claims to be
Review: This coffee maker is nice and it claims to make great coffee. But if you are a real coffee lover like I am then you will not like this coffee maker. It makes coffee that taste like water. I’ve tried different coffee beans from light toast to dark roast the instructions say to use medium size bean and so that what I used. I have messed around with the different grind sizes but still the coffee comes out too watery can’t even taste the coffee. I am guessing it has to do with the amount of coffee it grinds when you select the amount of cups you are going to make. If you don’t like your coffee strong then this coffee maker is for you.
