Lust. Mystery. Betrayal.

Weston Cavendish. My brother's best friend. I'd perfected the art of pretending that I didn't want him, that he didn't affect me every time he was near.

Or so I thought.

When his world comes crashing down, I'm the one he turns to, and I can't deny my feelings any longer.

I know there's something between us.

Until he finds out that I've been hiding things from him, too.

Broken and betrayed, can we pick up the pieces and work together to expose the truth?

The odds are stacked against us.

But I won't give up without a fight.

The Fight in Us is a stand-alone story but is best enjoyed after the previous three books in the series. This mature new adult romance may contain triggers for some listeners.

Title: Favorite of Becca's stories so far!
Review: I absolutely loved this book when it released on ebook, I devoured it because I fell for West in Winter and Caiden's trilogy and couldn't wait to find out how he and Lena would work things out. I was not disappointed in the least! I loved how smitten Lena was with West, but she didnt let him walk all over her. I liked her as a MC better than Winter (nothing wrong with Winter, I just think Lena is a total BA and kept surprising us with her skills haha). I loved the nerdiness in this book (as a fellow nerd) and the IT and cyber stuff made me so happy haha. I thought the pace of the book was on point, we get a couple different storylines, with some from the previous trilogy (I would highly recommend reading/listening to those before you dive into this one) and Becca did a phenomenal job weaving them all together. I was surprised by a couple things in this book, which I always love, and I felt the heartache, grief, tension, happiness, angst so much. I can't say it enough, but Becca has become one of my favorite authors from 2020-2021. I am so glad I stumbled onto her from a friend's recommendation.I won't give too much away with the story because you don't want to be spoiled. I will say I loved the cameos from the other guys in this one. This book sets the stage really well for Cass's book which is coming soon. I saw Cass's love interest coming based on book 3 and 4 of this series (Becca did a good job leaving hints but wasn't like IN YOUR FACE haha). I liked learning more about Zayde and look forward to his book hopefully next year ❤️. Aaaand Kinglsey and her bad man will be sexy and probably will keep us on our toes the whole time haha. I liked we got to see a little of Raine and Carter too. I also loved West and Caiden's dad more in this one, despite the big reveal/hurt they did to West. I loved his advice, so freakin adorable haha. OOOH and West with glasses??!!? Heck yes!!!Enough rambling haha, let's talk about the audiobook. I would give it a 4-4.5 stars. I thought Kelli and Gregory did a good job again, they are a good pairing after the trilogy with Winter and Caiden. I thought they emoted really hard with some of the of the tough subjects (betrayal, assault, murder, etc.). Good performances with their respective sex/characters (Kelli with Lena and Gregory with West). I just am not a fan of them as much when they do the opposite sex characters. They are 5/5 with their own sex's performance and more of a 4/5 with the opposite sex's performance, if that makes sense. I think if this was done like Trick Me Twice I would easily give it 5/5 for the performance.5/5 recommend this series and especially this book. I cannot wait to get my hand's on Cass's story and eventually maybe hearing Kian and Preston's love story on audio. Do walk, run to get this audiobook and ebook (and paperback like I did haha). Also, make sure you check out the other audiobooks in this series and Trick Me Twice, you won't be disappointed ❤️🎧 Audiobook Obsession Reviewer - Flock Team 🎧

Title: Weston and Lena
Review: Two of the Four have now met their matches and are on their way to achieving their happily ever afters. Weston and Lena were both dealing with a lot of emotions in this book, and my heart hurt for them both. These two had the secret pining down pat. Lena was so used to pretending her feelings didn’t exist, and West didn’t want to hurt Cass. They had a sweet, understanding relationship though, and I’m glad they were able to support one another. While the friendships of the Four group kind of took a backseat in this book, I did enjoy the story. I’m beyond ready to jump into Cass’ story.

Title: Oh Weston!! 🔥😍
Review: I loved catching up with the whole Four crew! Omg, and I’m salivating for the tasty morsels she left for Zayde’s story in the future.Now...West and Lena...The mystery weaved into the story was on point. Steele teased you just enough to leave you on edge asking questions and needing answers like a hungry woman. Now before this book, Weston was like that cute little brother type but oh my, Becca Steele showed me that sweet baby Weston is ALL man and there was not a doubt about it! He had me side eying him like oh hey zaddy! Man, that dirty mouth and possessive side that unveiled itself left me needing a fan and *ahem* maybe a change of clothes too if you know what I mean.My girl Lena was the baddie we all knew her to be, but boy after reading, you left her story having even more respect for her along with awe.Even though we just got Weston and Lena Miss Steele, I need Cassius and Zayde’s stories like yesterday!

Title: This one just didn't quite hit the mark for me
Review: I loved the first 3 books with Caiden and Winter's story. And I was excited to read Weston and Lena's story. While I liked it, I didn't love it. Something about this one seemed to drag on very slowly at times and the writing just seemed a bit off this time (there was a lot of internal dialogue that started feeling repetitive or just extra wordy). I found myself skim reading a lot of the time just to get to the actual interactions between the characters. Those interactions were written great, but the other parts just didn't hold my attention. I usually love spin off stories that focus on other characters, but as much as I wanted to love it just didn't hit the mark for me. I think it also may have to do with the fact that a lot of the story also involved them sitting and going thru data on computers (again it just got to be overly repetitive). I also felt like the focus was more on how often they could hook up in the last half of the book and I need more than just spicy scenes to be able to feel connected to the characters and the relationship they have.

Title: Just can't put it down!
Review: I love this series. Each of the main characters have such different but complimentary personalities. West was my favorite of the origional IV when we first met them. Lena was such a prominent MFC in "Trick Me Twice"; that I couldn't wait for each of them to get their "Happily ever after". The fact that each got theirs in thus same book was epic. I can't wait for the next book in this series I'm so excited because we are slowly working our way to Zane. But no matter who the MMC ends up being ~ I'm stoked to reading along on yet another adventure with this crew, in true IV fashion. I highly recommend this series to ALL MY FRIENDS & ANYONE who loves a good book on a small group of friends that bond over years growing up together, looking out for each other thru good and bad,..... and no matter what, through blood or not ; always, ALWAYS FAMILY!!

Title: Best One Yet
Review: I've been waiting for Weston to have a book since the beginning, and it did not disappoint! I loved Caiden and Winter, but West has had my heart. He's the perfect combination of nerdy, sweet, and pure alpha. Lena was the perfect heroine for him. I love everything about her. Every time you think you have the answers to what is going on, Becca proves you wrong. There were twists I didn't see coming that left me with more questions. I can't wait to read the next book to see how the Four continue to grow and overcome all the obstacles they face.

Review: So glad to be back in Alstone with the Four! I first want to commend Becca Steele on something I'd like to see more authors with series do....a recap! So handy when time has passed between books.I was so glad to see a book with Weston and Lena as they were great in the other books and they did not disappoint.  Their story melted me at times and I was glad to have both some angst and enough time with them together.  I hope to see books in the future with Zaiden and Cassius.

I actually gasped and my heart broke for Lena & Weston throughout. The tightnit family feel of West, Zayde, Caiden & Cassius is unreal. Review: The Fight In Us is the forth book in The Four series by Becca Steele. This is a complete standalone but i would recommend to read the trilogy first. Nevertheless you can read it as a standalone. This action packed romance novel is about Weston Cavendish and Lena Drummond (Cass‘s younger sis). After reading Winters and Caidens story i was really hoping that Lena is going to be Westons love interest and Becca Steele didn‘t disappoint. This angsty, suspense love story was sooo good. I was captivated from the beginning and devoured this book in one go! This book has exceeded all my expectations. They are the perfect match for each other. Lena and Weston complement each other. Also i was really happy to see that the boys and Winter are playing an important role in this book. To see how this group of friends develop is heartwarming.Thank you Becca for this amazing book. I really can‘t wait for the next one. So excited for Zaydes and Casss love interests.

Review: Lena and West were a couple that just had to get together. He was a typical college student who sleeps with different women all the time. Lena was just waiting and hoping that one day he will notice her.A brilliantly written story with excellent characters and a happy ending guaranteed.
