Title: One of My Favorites
Review: If you don't like dry humor, this movie is not for you. There is an appalling lack of action and CGI in this movie, but somehow I am extremely entertained every time I watch it. This is a comedy with fantastic cast and a well-written dialog. As mentioned, the humor is very dry and sharp, although some of it is "on the nose" (like the recurring jokes about one character's past sex life) and some is a bit goofy (one character has two literal left feet). Every character is quirky in their own way and is played to the tee by the actors. I really have no idea what goes on behind the scenes at real dog shows but can imagine that it is not too different from how this movie presents it.
