Title: Great little composter
Review: This is the perfect size for my little yard. Easy to move when needed, unlike the ones that have two drums. If I need to add a second drum, I can move the units separately into spots that fit the small units and I’m not restricted to a larger area that the bigger ones need. This composter actually holds quite a lot. I’m still filling it up. When it’s full I will add a second one so they can tag team each other.I had no issues putting it together (70 year old female!). The directions show them stretching the clips apart a little and that helps. Some of the clips took a little more ‘nudging’ to get them to snap into place, but if I can do it with arthritis a younger person should have no issues. It’s very sturdy and revolves easily. I have lots of flower pots and flower beds and I’m looking forward to topping them off with my compost next Spring.

Title: CAUTION: Challenging to assemble (I snapped the side connections!) - Updated 6/2021
Review: [INITIAL 2020 REVIEW] As a heads up, the product does not come with paper assembly instructions, so you will need to go online to get them. While I like the idea of cutting down on paper, I always find omitting the instructions in particular to be a real nuisance and makes a product immediately less consumer-friendly.The main issue, however, is that getting the side walls of the product to properly snap together is a challenge. I couldn't seem to get things properly aligned and, when the directions online said to use a little force, the only thing I accomplished was buckling and snapping some of the side connections (note: I have minimal upper arm strength, and can say honestly that I was not exerting much actual force so this was surprising to me.) Because the product is now slightly broken, I'm going to need to find my own way to fit it together and mend any unintended gaps so that it can be (hopefully) functional. This is likely going to impact it's long-term stability and effectiveness, so I can't rate how the product actually works when assembled successfully.Overall, this was supposed to be my first foray into composting, so I'm a bit disappointed that I'm off to such a bad start. I think the product design could be tweaked a little to make assembly easier. It looks like it should be straightforward to put together, but even the slightest misalignment appears very difficult to correct and throws the whole thing off. If it had been able to assemble smoothly, I would otherwise have been very happy with the size and overall design of the product.[1 YEAR UPDATE - 2021] I refused to give up on this little composter. After a few weeks of huffing at the half-finished assembly every time I walked by it and occasionally attempting to wrangle all the connections together, I was finally able to fully assemble it. The side connection area I accidentally snapped in my initial assembly attempt didn't appear too noticeable in the end, either. Since assembling it, I have been using it for a full year and it's still holding steady.Yes, it was a headache and a half to put together - and I still think that's worth considering before you buy it - but in my case, it turned out to be worth it. I've found it's really easy to use and it does its job quite well. It doesn't take up a lot of space in the yard and is very discrete (it does fill up quick though! I find myself wishing I had bought the double composter option so I could start a second batch.)I would tentatively recommend this product for those who have the dexterity and patience for the initial assembly - or those who know someone else who can be tasked with assembling it for them! With this in mind, I've revised my rating from "1 star" to "4 stars." Happy composting!

Title: Good quality and online instructions very easy to follow.
Review: Very good size and structurally sound. Material is high quality and online instructions are very easy to follow. Only took m about 10 minutes to assemble. Definitely a good value for the price.Sure beats digging in a compost pit or raised compost bed. You only need to occasionally rotate the bin to mix the contents versus using a spade, shovel, or garden rake to manually turn everything over. It's also portable so you can relocate it anywhere in under a minute. Good luck relocating a traditional compost pit or bed without it taking an entire day. I may buy a second or third one depending on how fast we fill it up.Tips based on some comments:- If you are having a fly and maggot problem (maggots are fly larvae) it is not the fault of the composter. Flys are attracted to rotting waste which is what compost is. Those maggots actually help break down the material into a rich organic matter just like worms.- I do not recommend adding a starter soil in large quantities, especially ordinary topsoil as it can add too much weight that may stress the plastic panels.- Plastic tends to soften when excessively heated so keep that in my mind when locating it. Full all-day sun may soften the panels and cause them to pop out depending on the weight of the contents. Do not rotate during full sun exposure because of that possibility. Do so when shaded and cool.- You should NOT rotate the composter every day as this disturbs natural fungi and will delay the process. Once every 5 days should be sufficient and make sure the material is redistributed well at that time.- This should go without saying. DO NOT add domestic animal waste! Cat and dog poop is NOT manure. Only herbivore poop can be used. Do not add any animal protein at all. Only add organic matter. Avoid adding vegetable and fruit scraps containing seeds as they may later sprout unwanted in your garden.- Eggshells and valuable calcium can keep soil acidity down. That being said, know your plants! If they prefer acidic soil then don't add eggshells. If you do choose to add them wash and dry them first, then crush as fine as possible to speed break down.

Title: Easy set up
Review: It was very straight forward set up, I didn’t even look at the instructions. If you do need it, it is a QR code you scan to get to a website. Now it’s just in my backyard making compost!

Review: Small and compact, but that is what I was looking for.The assembly can be a little tedious. I laughed at the *use force" step, Force alone won't do it, you need to make sure the tabs are aligned before any force is used. Some gentle force and finesse would be more like it. However, in the end, it all came together nicely and sturdily. It was assembled in a reasonable amount of time, but I could definitely see some people that aren't too handy struggling with it. I'm happy with it overall. (Now to get the compost process going...)Update: Upgraded to 5 stars. Since using it, I've ordered a 2nd one! This one came together great, experience helps. Having 2 small tumblers is even better!

Review: There are no printed instructions in the box, a QR code loads the website for instruction, but it happened to be down when it was my time to assemble (it is back up as I write this review). I hooked the outside slats to the one side before snapping the outside connectors on, which seemed to work out well, I had it assembled in under 10 minutes by myself. A mallet with gentle taps got everything aligned and snapped into place for me. The unit looks sturdy and holds quite a bit of material for composting. The only issue I am seeing as a potential problem is the sliding door possibly getting frozen and difficult to open in the wintery weather. I bought this as the deer are getting into my compost piles during the cold weather, they will push inverted buckets and even an inverted wheel barrow off the piles, so hoping this will be a good alternative, plus it should be quicker at the process than a compost pile with the good oxygenation this product looks to supply.

Customers say

Customers like the ease of assembly, size, and functionality of the compost bin. They mention it's slim and doesn't take up much room, perfect for small decks, and works well for small-time gardening. Some say it makes their composting every day an easy task. However, some customers differ on its sturdiness, value for money, design, and ease of turning.
