Title: Great NUC for everyday use.
Review: I ordered this as a gift for as a Christmas gift to replace my in-law's computer that was aging. I wanted something that would fit behind the monitor for the tight space the last Small Form Factor PC I built overwhelmed. Bonus for me is I actually didn't catch that this unit came with Windows 11 License already.This NUC works great for their daily use which consists of card games, email, and internet surfing. It does it quietly and uses very little power. I appreciate the fact they included a VESA mount to go right on the back of the monitor. Beats the Velcro strips I was going to use!

Title: A great PC for the price
Review: This PC is very easy to set up is very lightweight takes up very little space but very powerful very fast and large hard drive. Adequate memory and ease of use makes it a great little PC.It can also mount on the backside of your monitor to take up even less space.It has multiple USB ports HDMI ports, etc.. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Title: Good little computer, wish it had a more complete manual
Review: Nice compact, but powerful computer. It is pretty much ready to use, as it comes out of the box. You will only need to finish the Windows install process, which consists of a few questions to customize your installation to your keyboard, time zone, location, and end user login. If you DON'T want to have a password to enter each time you turn it on, you can leave the password item blank, after you have entered your username. You can always change to a having password later, but I don't think you can remove the password requirement if you fill it in at this time. This unit is quiet and small enough to tuck away, even behind your monitor via the included VESA mounting bracket. Wherever you place it remember that like all computers it will get warm, so be sure it has air space around it for the fan to circulate cooling air.It has Windows 11 pre-installed, which will work fine for 99% of the users. I wanted to use it for a media server in my RV, so I wanted to install Linux, which has more flexibility and is faster booting. On my first attempts, I entered the BIOS settings and changed the "Display Delay" setting. Unfortunately, it caused the display to not work, on either HDMI or VGA. I contacted customer service, and Kin, the rep., nicely replaced the unit under warranty. I did find out later that it would have been possible to clear the BIOS back to defaults, but with no display, that would have required opening the case and removing the motherboard, as the CMOS battery is underneath the MB. I can see why they would not trust the typical user with doing this.The pictures above show the Linux Mint 21.1 64 Bit install. I did it as a dual boot, just so that I would be able to access Win 11 if I wanted to. To do this, you need to have some experience with loading OS's on a computer, and working with BIOS settings. DO NOT attempt it if you have not done this before!To load Linux, you will need a bootable version on a USB drive. Plug in the thumbdrive, start the computer, then press the DEL key repeatedly. It should go into the BIOS settings. Leave all of the settings alone, except the following. Go to the SECURITY tab and select SECURE BOOT. Press enter and then go down until you reach SECURE BOOT. Press enter, and select DISABLE. go back up and go to the BOOT menu. The computer will see the thumbdrive and so you can select it as the 1st BOOT OPTION. Note, a thumbdrive must be present for the option to boot from USB to appear. It will not say USB, but will name the manufacturer of the drive that is plugged in. Do an F4 to save and close. Restart the computer and it should boot from the Linux on the USB. Follow the process as it boots. It will eventually have a working, but uninstalled version for you to try. At this point you can shutdown without making any changes to your computer if you don't want to install it. There will be the option to install showing on the desktop. Click on install and follow the prompts. At some point you will have the option to dual boot, which retains your Windows install, or to clear the drive and install Linux. If you opted for dual boot, it will partition the internal SSD to 2 parts splitting the space between Windows and Linux. Once this is done and the install is finished, it will reboot, and the option of Windows 11 or Linux will be shown during boot. Use the arrow keys to select which one, and press enter.

Review: Versatile Mini PC ReviewI've found this mini PC to be incredibly versatile. The N97 chip inside performs admirably, comparable to an 8th generation i5 CPU. While it’s not built for AAA gaming, it handles lighter gaming tasks well. I’ve connected some flash drives to it and set up Batocera Linux for console emulation, allowing for impressive gaming performance. I'm able to upscale the resolution for many systems and run PS2, Wii, and OG Xbox games with minimal stutter.With 8GB of DDR4 RAM, this mini PC has more than enough power for emulation. I've also installed Moonlight, which lets me stream games from my gaming PC to my TV, treating it like a console. This setup allows me to switch from gaming in Batocera to watching my security cameras from my office/game room by rebooting into Windows. Thanks to its quick sync capabilities, I'm planning to test out some NVR software like Blue Iris to see if it can function as a full-time NVR for my four cameras.The mini PC’s expandability is another plus; adding more storage is a breeze—just pop the top, and you can fit a 2.5" HDD or SSD. I’ve added a 500GB SSD without any issues. The snappy Windows experience on this device makes it an excellent desktop replacement for my elderly parents, who mainly use their PC for email and bills. I'm also considering getting another one for their security camera setup due to its low profile and minimal power usage.The Bluetooth 5.1 and WiFi 5 chip are noteworthy. I can achieve speeds of around 400Mbps over WiFi and double that using gigabit Ethernet with a Cat5 cable. Pairing controllers for gaming was a breeze with the excellent Bluetooth range. For lightweight Windows gaming, my nephew plays Roblox and Minecraft effortlessly, and we can watch YouTube in 4K without any issues. The mini PC has two HDMI 4K ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, a VGA connection for older monitors, and a 3.5mm audio jack for standard stereo speakers or headphones. It even supports Bluetooth speakers if needed.This mini PC is capable of some modern gaming, particularly with less demanding titles, and its performance is comparable to an Xbox 360 for native gaming. Even when running at its limits, the fan noise is minimal, making it a quiet and cool machine.Overall, I'm a big fan of these mini PCs. While it won’t replace a $1000 gaming desktop or workstation, it excels at everyday home tasks and offers a host of other use cases. I’m even thinking about buying another one because of its reliability and performance.

Review: Editado 24 de septiembre.Resumen:Recomiendo para el día a día de la oficina, escuela, navegar, videos, música, un poco de juegos que no sean demandantes-emulación de consolas de generaciones pasadas.Si vas a jugar títulos más bien recientes, editar video, streaming, u otras cosas que sabes que necesitas un equipo potente, ve por otra opción, que hay muchas. Como abajo, menciono Beelink, es la que tengo y uso yo.Reseña más a detalle:Es para mí hermana, yo lo elegí por funcionalidad, ella por "bonito", pero cuando llegó era de otro color. Tan sólo tiene una ranura para la RAM, ya ocupada por 16 gigas (un punto bueno al menos). Probablemente hay un modelo similar con dos ranuras, pero casi no encuentro información que lo diga directamente, o es RAM soldada a la tarjeta madre, es decir: no se puede expandir, ni reparar en caso que falle.Es difícil acceder al almacenamiento; hay que quitar muchos tornillos de ambos lados, afortunadamente nada se ve frágil ni fácil de romper en un descuido. De todos modos, se tiene que hacer con cuidado.Aunque eso sí, el plástico de la carcasa se siente barato. Ya compré antes una mini PC Beelink, y este definitivamente es de rango más bajo en cuanto a eso.Aunque en videos y reseñas se ve que tiene almacenamiento m.2 tamaño 2230, al abrirlo, para mi grata sorpresa es de 2280-los más comunes ahora. Probablemente ha tenido revisiones, pero, como dije, no encuentro información confiable y actualizada de estos modelos.Después de iniciarla (Windows 11), la apagué y removí la unidad que traía. Le puse la unidad de otra computadora (Windows 10) y al principio, como esperaba, da pantallazo y marca errores, pero después de aplicar una reparación al inicio de sistema, se puede uno mudar con su sistema y archivos. Claro, hay que actualizar para que reconzca los dispositivos, y volver a introducir contraseñas de internet. En mi caso, El sistema reconoció que la unidad que mudé tenía la opción de activar BitLocker, para mayor cifrado de datos mediante contraseña o una "llave" que puede ser una unidad USB, pero no usamos esa opción, por lo que marca una señal de advertencia en las propiedades de Equipo. Se puede ignorar, no afecta.
