Title: It's the Best so Far
Review: I have an old fashion Mirro Press but can no longer turn the knob due to arthritis so I bought a Marcato Press for $65 in 2018 but I don't have the strength for that one as it hurt my hand, then I bought this Wilton cookie press in 2020 and only just tried it out 2/2024 and it was perfect for my arthritis. It took a bit of getting use to as it take a while for the press to click but it is easy on the hands. Don't force it and you don't have to apply a lot of pressure but you do have to wait for the click. Other than that it is user friendly if you have hand problems, arthritis, etc.PS: If the barrel sticks while trying to clean it, make sure you unscrew everything before you run water on it. My barrel stuck and husband ran it under hot water a few times and it finally came apart.ð

Title: Easy to use and clean
Review: I bought this as a replacement for my Pampered Chef cookie press (which I wasn't a very big fan of). It's easy to wash with the barrel and disks being dishwasher safe. My only suggestion to the designers would be fir the barrel to be wider so it's easier to fill with dough

Title: It will do the job
Review: I had a Mirror cookie press for 49 years and it broke this past Christmas while making our traditional cookies. I had a hard time trying to decide which type of press to purchase to replace my favorite press. I ended up purchasing the Wilton press since Wilton has been known for tools for baking. My Mom used Wilton all the time, so I expected that it would be a great product. It does not seem as sturdy as my other press but there is a feature that I do like better with the Wilton press. Each press clicks out a cookie which is nice that all cookies come out the same. The biggest issue is that the cookie sheets have to be cold (not room temp, but cold) before the press will release the cookie. I solved that minor issue by sticking the cookie sheet in the freezer for a couple of minutes. It is a little hard to press the trigger to release the cookie, but once you've done it a couple of times, you know what to expect. It is a little more difficult to clean than my other press but not so much that it would keep me from using it again. Overall, it's a good press for the money. I'm just having to get used to change which is not my favorite thing to do. LOL.

Title: Beautiful cookies!
Review: Bought two of these so I can share the joy of baking with a granddaughter. These are perfect for lovely shortbread cookies. Sprinkle with your favorite decor and pop into Christmas gift platters or on to a plate for a lovely pass around desert. Love this

Title: Started off strong . . . . And then
Review: Struggled to clean the press! Worked great for making cookies and I even used the recipe on the box which was great. However, when I went to clean the press I couldn't get the barrel off. Does anyone have any tips for me? This will be a wasted purchase if I can't get the barrel off for cleaning.

Title: Will probably work with a looser dough
Review: I will update next time I make cookies, but my initial experience with this product was not as great as I had hoped. There is not a spritzer recipe or book that comes with this product so I used my go-to recipe from the 1963 Betty Crocker Cookie Cookbook. This recipe has worked just fine in all other spritzers I have used but perhaps the consistency was still too thick for this Wilton Spritzer to handle. The handle is a little finicky. If you turn it to the side the mechanism does not ratchet (so you can reset position when you reload). There is not much room for error, if the handle is not exactly perpendicular the mechanism will not ratchet. I tried the Christmas tree disc and the snowflake disc. The instructions say you only have to pump the handle once for a cookie to come out, but I had to pump at least four times for the cookie to even touch my pan, then I had to scrape it off of the disc to get it onto the pan (which of course messes up the design). I did try the discs in my XO spritzer (which costs 5 times the amount this one does). I had no issue with the cookie dough coming out, however the dough did not want to shape the way it was supposed to. The tree would not stick together and the snowflake did not want to detach. This was a result of the discs, not the dough because when I used the XO discs in the XO spritzer it worked just fine.Again, I will update next time I make cookies, I suspect it will work better with a looser dough, but I just could not get it to work properly.

Title: "Simple Success" is a Good Description
Review: After several years, I decided that I wanted to make cookie press cookies. We found a VillaWare power cookie press stashed away in our closet (current price $149.00). The first day it was very difficult to use because the plunger becomes unattached while the press is in use. So I found this Simple Success press in Amazon for only $6.64, and I ordered it two days ago.So two days later, we were struggling to make more press cookies with the power press, which kept coming apart in process. Maybe we could glue the two press parts together? So it was 12:30 pm and, lo and behold, the Simple Success cookie press had been delivered. It saved the day!!Even with the Simple Success cookie press, making nice cookie shapes is still a "process" that takes some experience in using it. It depends on the temperature and consistency of the cookie dough, and how to do the "press." I also had read a tip to use cookie trays that had been cooled in the freezer. Generally, one click of the press and hold it long enough for the dough to come out. Two clicks of the press makes a thicker design, but generally satisfactory. Once you get the knack of it, it makes a lot of nicely shaped cookies that are a lot better than the shaped butter cookies that you can buy for $8-10.00 Lb. in the grocery store.

Review: Estoy fascinada.

Review: I'm not sure why so many negative reviews. Those people either have no idea how to bake or they just want to keep the item and get their money back also. The press is very sturdy and very easy to use. Plenty of disc shapes to chose from and the whole process is actually very relaxing. Click click and before you know it you have delicious warm homemade biscuits or cookies in front of you. Cleaning a bit fiddly but i refuse to complain just for that. Here's a recipe also, for those who keep complaining.400g plain flour250g soft butter100g icing sugar1 eggVanilla or lemon extract1/2 tsp saltMix everything together (i use a stand mixer) and voila! Perfect cookies every time.If you want chocolate cookies, add 40g cocoa and 1 extra egg to the mix,
Customers say
Customers like the ease of use, cleaning, and taste of the cookie cutter. They mention it's a quick and painless way to make cookies. However, some customers have reported that the plastic material is easy to break after several uses. Opinions are mixed on the cookie quality, functionality, value for money, and cookie shape.
