Title: This is an undersized hardcover
Review: The size was unexpected. It probably was stated in the details but I only saw it was hardcover and assumed it was the typical size but it's not - it's 6 3/4" x 8 1/4" so if looks and size matter to you within your cookbook collection (as it does me) be aware. The recipes are ok so far but be advised this author calls for a lot of almond meal which is quite dry, and also caster sugar which I normally don't have on hand. I've had to add fat and/or eggs to make some of the dough pliable for rolling.

Title: UGHHH...
Review: SO bummed out, I have had this book for a while and refer to this book for recipes. I'm an avid cook, and 1/2 of these- following the recipes- turn up dry dusty/batter does not hold. I even wondered while reading the recipes "Man, that is a lot of flour/meal in the same recipe? " BUT, I did what was asked. Beautiful images, beautiful layout/book, BUT a lot of recipes must have errors because they are not looking right at all all I have to throw away/waste food. Someone posted an image of their dough, and it is the same, if not more dry/loose.

Review: What I loved about this book that each recipe has its own image, which is really important to me with a cookery book. I always look at the picture when trying to decide what to make and if I make it I know what it is supposed to look like. The only downside is that I couldn't find a recipe for the frosting. Minor niggle.

Review: I liked some of the recipes but didnât like the fact some of the ingredients were for the US market. I spent ages switching oven temperatures to the UK figures and who uses butter by the stick in the UK. I now have a sticker in the front of the book with things I have transferred to UK values.
