Title: Very Practical
Review: I saw this pan featured on Freakin' Reviews. As someone who makes pasta literally almost every day, I was immediately sold. This pan has been used well over a hundred times, and it may be one of the best purchases I've made.Draining Pasta with the locking lid is far easier, and it saves on space, dishes and cleanup time.I highly recommend the product as it has saved me so much time and effort, and shows no signs of wear so far.If I had to pick a critique with it, I would say it'd be nice if the water drained from the pot just a little faster. It does drain a little slow with some pasta types(angel hair especially), and if you tilt it too far while there's still a lot of water in it, the water can slip out the side by the handles and risks burning your hands. I have had this happen and while I do consider it user error, it'd be nice if the design allowed for this impatient pouring.

Title: Best pot
Review: This is one of my favorite pots. You can boil and then lock the sides and strain without getting burned or without the food falling out. And itâs nonstick.

Title: Versatile & Useful
Review: Have been using it for 4 months. Tried this pot for pasta, vegetables, ground beef, and sauces. Smooth and toxin-free surface, and easy to drain. This is a great investment and helps use fewer kitchenware items. Easy to hand wash. Use oven mitts to transport it to the sink from the stove. Pour liquid away from you, as it gets quite steamy.

Title: A convenient and reliable product
Review: I use it to cook pasta and rice noodles for a large family for a few weeks now.Procs:Easy to drain the water as it advertised. The lock feature works easily and great.Easy to clean.Appears to be very anti-scratch. I am using stainless steel spoon to get the noodles in the pot, and I don't see any scratches on it so far (I will review this one a few months later).Cons:The pot edge handles are very hot when I need to drain the water, so I have to wear thick gloves to hold the pot. This is NOT a pure stainless steel pot so I expected that its hard plastic handles can be heatproof, but I am wrong.

Title: Works great and nonstick
Review: The nonstick actually works like intended, the pot is a decent size and can fit an entire pack of spaghetti or pasta. I have also used this for soup, mac and cheese, and chili and it held its end. I bought a second one to give to my partner and he loves it just as much. Love that I no longer need a separate strainer and how durable this pot is.

Title: Solid Product for Those Possessing Common Sense
Review: For the reviewers complaining that you canât heat 5 quarts of liquid in this 5 quart pot â well, duh! Any cook knows that the actual (stated) capacity of a pot is not the cooking capacity. Itâs just common sense. For the reviewer who complained that âit is posted that this pan is oven safe up to 500 degreesâ and posted a photo of melted handles at 325 degrees: the handles are plastic! Why on earth would you ever think that plastic handles would be oven-safe? The manufacturer clearly states, âDo not use in oven.â The manufacturer also makes it clear that the handles should not come into contact with the gas flame on the stove. Because â you guessed it â plastic melts!Note: the term âlocking handlesâ is mildly deceptive. By twisting the handles 180 degrees, you secure the lid to the pot; however, the handles do not actually lock in place. It is hypothetically possible for the ergonomically challenged cook to somehow give those handles another 180 degree spin while draining the pot. This would mean the lid would no longer be secured to the pot. That said, I do not think this product presents any more risk than any other pasta pot. It is simply best practice to have your wits about you when you are draining off boiling water from a pasta pot.The manufacturer states metal utensils can be used with this pot, but Iâd stay away from them. This is a no brainer as there will be no trade off in quality or performance if you use plastic or wooden utensils. The manufacturer also states this product is dishwasher safe but recommends hand washing and this is good advice. Harsh detergents and super high water temps are no friends to nonstick cookware.Lastly, donât use nonstick sprays like Pam with this pot unless you love icky residue buildup.Summary:Pros: heats liquids quickly, cleans easily.Cons: handles get hot (but hey, thatâs what pot holders are for). On the small side if you are cooking for a large group or doing meal prep.
