Title: Wow, wow, wow!
Review: I ordered these pans last night after taking a look at my 22 month old t-fal pans, which after weekly use with nothing but rubber utensils all had tiny scratches and chips in them, even the little sauce pan that I've used *maybe* 20 times in the nearly two years I've owned it. Not really trusting t-fals promise that whatever material that comes off of their pans is "inert" and "will pass through the body", I decided I had enough of cheap (and proven dangerous despite "promises" - not just as a carcinogen, but the permanent damage forever chemicals used to make non-stick pans have done to our planet too) teflon pans and made the leap. These stainless steel pots and pans arrived a little after 9:00 am, and I woke my poor spouse as I ran onto the porch in my pjs and dragged the box inside giggling like it was Christmas. I continued to giggle as I opened the box, pausing to examine each piece of this set and whisper "wow!" at how incredible these pans look and feel. However, looks couldn't be the only thing to go off of when deciding if I could make the full switch to stainless steel. Immediately I decided to put them to the test to see if I had what it took to truly convert - by making fried eggs, the bane of non-stick cookware.I was worried that I would just make a mess of my brand new pan, and waste a bunch of eggs... I soon learned that I needn't be however. After letting the pan preheat on medium low, doing the water test, oiling and salting the pan and cracking my eggs inside... they cooked, and slid perfectly out onto the plate, just as good as they would in a non-stick pan! I was so impressed that I made a second serving of eggs for my poor spouse who I woke up in my excitement - this time though they stuck a *little*, but I think that was because the pan got a little bit too hot from going two rounds. I wish I took pictures of the eggs, but we ate them so fast (and they were very delicious - not sure if it's just my excitement but I swear they tasted better cooked in stainless steel)I am absolutely ecstatic! I am officially done with teflon pans, and you can be too if you get this set!

Title: Works Great
Review: I will say this they are not as heavy as cast iron but, not as light as cheap pans. Please please read the reviews on how to use them. You must heat of the pan first, splash a little water and see if the water floats a bubble across the pan, if so it is ready for anything. Have your food out before cooking, it doesn't like frozen food nor super cold food. I was able to make many many recipes and my only complaint is that it doesn't like to deep fry; I have tried many tricks but, my food still sticks to the bottom. But, as for any other cooking methods it did a great job, and the extra bonus they are very easy to clean. Please remember these are heat induction so, if you are used to cooking at one temperature you will need to turn it down a notch, and the food will cook at the same time. The handles do not get hot on the stove top, they will in the oven but not scorching hot. If you have well or hard water I would highly recommend to clean them with Bar Keepers Friend before use, it takes off all the spots and keeps them clean for awhile. You can use them on gas or electric stovetops and ovens. My favorite pan that I use the most is the 3 quart sauté pan, cook the food, place the lid on top, and it keeps the food hot for awhile. Just remember these are not Teflon pans, which have chemicals we don't need in our body's. Always heat up your pan before use, lower the temperature a little for excellent cooking, set your food out before cooking, and they are easy to clean. Have fun trying many recipes with these excellent pans, I love my set, it is good quality, and do an excellent job.

Title: Best Salmon I ever cooked
Review: I’m tired of being grossed out by non stick skillets as they age. Nothing ever browns , it just doesn’t feel like cooking. I also needed inspiration to cook more at home and stop my restaurant delivery orders that I can’t afford. I saw this set on sale and I started researching stainless steel cookware. My research kept leading me back to this set and it’s current very fair sale price. So I stopped obsessing and bought the cookware.Gorgeous out of the box. Before I used I watched some iTunes videos in order to learn cooking with Stainless steel. Lots of good videos that inspired me to cook again. I’m glad I watched because I didn’t want to ruin the cookware on my first day. I used my new frying pan to sear Salmon Filets with their skin. Oh, to see food brown again! I forgot what it’s like to cook. The salmon was browned perfectly on outside and as tender as poached salmon on the inside. It was not as easy to clean as non stick but had I not watched the videos it would have been a disaster. I did get my pan back to its shiny new state however. It’s a learning curve, it’s not intuitive yet but I’m willing to learn a lot of tips to try while watching more videos about how to cook and clean with stainless steel. (I’m not one to watch cooking shows, I just google recipes before I’m about to cook, but i was inspired watching the cooking part of the instructional videos. Most were to the point and short). For me, it’s worth the challenge but I can see how it wouldn’t be for others. I’m just thrilled I made the purchase.

Title: Great, thick stainless pots/pans - well designed - and felt sturdy!
Review: I bought this set from the Amazon Warehouse for a friend who was going through a divorce. They were in great condition and only lightly used (as expected from Amazon Warehouse items). The pots and pans are dishwasher safe and cleaned up nicely. The handles are thick, a bit heavy, and feel very sturdy. While I couldn’t find a way to tighten the handles, that wasn’t a major concern for me.I was looking for a nice set for my friend, and this one delivered. Some of the pots even have internal measuring markers, which is a nice touch. These should last for years to come!

Review: This set is sturdy but surprisingly light weight, and absolutely beautiful. Curing the frying pans made cleaning much easier. Initially I found the edges a bit sharp, but I have become accustomed to them. Exquisite looking set that cooks very well.

Review: Received the package on time, and was at first happy to see everything has arrived safely, but after matching the lids to the pots and pan I discovered that the lids don't sit tight on the pans, there is a few millimeters gap between them. I have other Calphalone utensils previously purchased from amazon.com a few years ago and there the lids sit tight. For the price we had paid this is nonsense.Update: black stains after first use, very low-quality steel. Disgrace.

Review: My mother bought this from my wish list as a house warming gift and it is great! The heat distributes evenly, it is so easy to clean(Bar Keepers Friend for the first wash and anything that does stick)I wouldn’t say it’s light weight, more medium weight if that makes sense

Review: I love that there's a spout and holes built into the lids for emptying water without having to remove the lid. Stainless steel, nice set.
