Title: Good ol HOOVER!
Review: We already own a Dyson V15 detect, BUT we have always had a second vacuum for quick fast clean ups. We had the prior model...now I can't think of the name...but after many years it died and is no longer made. I grew up with HOOVER vacuums so for me it's almost a sentimental thing too 🙂 This vacuum works GREAT overall. I had seen many reviews even videos where the brush would stop if you end up going over different length carpet?.. We have had zero issues with the brush stopping be it over plush, short...or even a nice wool area rug. Brush has zero issues, and it does NOT collect hair! I wanted this Hoover mostly because it was one of the few vacuums where you can just use the suction, and turn the brush OFF over say...wood flooring. In the end...We ended up not using that feature as the brush doesn't scratch OUR wood or vinyl floors....just use the brush on low to medium power. Two things I am not thrilled about. One is the head is not really suitable for stairs. It seems connected only by plastic tubing. I did see reviews where that tubing ripped...and I would imagine if you constantly pick up this vacuum and let the heavy head part just be suspended by the plastic tubing, over tome that COULD be a weak point. Second gripe is the battery. It is NOT bad...but for such a a large looking kinda heavy battery, battery life is not GREAT but it is pretty good. We like the machine has lights as you vacuum, like that it can stand up without leaning it or using some sort of mount like the Dyson. Overall it's a very NICE vacuum...esp if maybe just suing it more for quicker clean-ups or you don't have OCD and need every millimeter cleaned. The Dyson V15 is perhaps in a diff class, but it's also very heavy and a bit of a pain to use, and twice the price.....so GO Hoover!

Title: So many Pros
Review: I have so many Pros for this vacuum. It's lightweight. I have issues with my hands and this vacuum doesn't bother me. The weight is distributed toward the middle, so my hands are not doing so much work to swivel, sweep and push.It swivels on a dime to get in corners.I can keep an eye on the battery level in two places! I plan to buy a second battery to always have a charged battery on hand. If you have a larger home, you may want a second battery. This vacuum is quieter than most.It doesn't take up a lot of room so you can set it in an out of the way corner or a closet.Cons:Only one and it's really minor. The buttons for speed could be where the battery power indicator button is. I always manage to hit the speed button while vacuuming and have to put it back to where I want it. Like I said.....a minor inconvenience.I only have bedrooms with carpet and the rest of my house is tile. This is the perfect vacuum of me.I highly recommend this vacuum.Update Sept 23, 2024I am still in love with this vacuum. I did forget to mention how easy it is to empty the canister...so easy. However, there is one thing I need to mention regarding the battery. It doesn't have as long a life as I would like. I have 2 area rugs and 3 carpeted bedrooms. Depending on power level you have the vacuum on you may not be able to get everything you wanted vacuumed.....I can only get the 3 bedrooms done on a freshly charged battery. For that reason, I have ordered a 2nd battery. For me, this is a minor thing. I can always use a second charged battery.

Title: I GOT A LEMON
Review: First of all, I have owned 2 Hoover Linx vacs. I bought one in '15 and one in '16. Understandably, one of them died but I do still have the one. Eight years is spectacular for a battery powered vac. I searched and searched for the Linx which is no longer available. I imagine this is the upgraded version of the Linx. When I took it out of the box, the instructions said to push the handle into the vac opening and push down till it clicks. I pushed as hard as I could but never did hear a clicking sound but I thought as hard as I pushed, it should be ok. I also charged the battery. When I tried to turn the vac on, it would not come on, despite trying several things. I googled for trouble shooting but never really found anything. Customer service is only available M-F, 9-3, despite saying 9-6 on the instruction sheet. Also, the instructions said there are "no serviceable parts" to this vac. Hmmmmm. After all that, I thought, this thing is going back. We had to figure out how to get the handle back out of the vac. To do that, there is a small hole in which you place a small screwdriver. Pushing into that hole releases the handle. Once we did this, it must have "seated" the handle so it worked! I was very happy about that UNTIL I went to turn it off. It would not turn off despite pressing the on/off button numerous times. I had to remove the battery to shut it off. By this time, I am totally burned out from fooling with it and have decided to send it back. I'll look for something else. The Hoover Linx is the best stick vac ever made, imo. It worked like a charm and the filtration system was very easy to disassemble. After every few uses, I'd take very everything apart and wash it. I see many people happy with this model, but it did not work for me.

Review: I have four different vacuums and this is by far my favourite. It is light weight, maneuvers well, holds a lot of dust and dirt, empties easily (no bags) and picks up my dogs hair well. That said, his hair is long so I do untangle it from the brush bar whenever I dump the vacuum, but that’s to be expected and is the same with other brush bar vacuums.I find the charge lasts long enough for me to do a quick vacuum on two floors. The battery charges fast and pops in and out easily. It picks up on hardwood and my low pile carpet well. That said this doesn’t have the heavy duty carpet cleaning suction of larger plugin vacuums but will still pick up quite a lot is sand, dog hair, dirt and Cheerios. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Review: This product is amazing. I had so many hoovers but never remove cat's hair properly. This one after hoover the carpets looks like they been cleaned by professionals. The amount of hair, dust and other debry is amazing. You maybe need to clean with water to clean all the sticky dust. It also save me so much time because is so powerful and easy to manouver. I will buy it again as my cats have now very clean free hair carpets and good for me when I do workouts without hair.

Review: I was really excited to get a new vacuum because our previous one (same brand) has lasted for over 8 years! (Yes, it is still operational but we need a 2nd one)2nd time we used it the roller stopped rolling and then the whole thing stopped vacuuming- a ‘warning’ light would flash when turned on, but nothing else happened. We got it replaced with a new one in May 2024… so a little over 4 months and now 3 out of 5 times we try to use it the roller stops and the little warming light comes on again.I don’t really have time to see what’s up with it every time I want to vacuum. I expect my vacuum to be ready for use when I need it and this is just frustrating and annoying

Customers say

Customers like the suction, weight, and ease of cleaning of the vacuum cleaner. They mention it's better than any stick vacuum they have ever purchased, is easy to empty, and is comparable in weight and flexibility. Some also appreciate its ease of use. However, some customers differ on the battery life, functionality, value for money, and build quality.
