Title: Love it. So easy.

Review: The perfect truss for the rotisserie. Helps to evenly cook a chicken. Wings and legs were held in place and did not burn. Keeps the bird from flopping and unevenly cooking. Plenty of YouTube videos out there showing the cooking process. Simply truss the bird. Use the rotisserie skewer as normal.

Title: Works great on turkeys up to 16lbs, but fails miserably on anything larger.
Review: I really wanted to love this thing. I really did.I run a small business frying turkeys every year at Thanksgiving and Christmas. To me this had the potential to be a great time saver and to also add some reinforcement to my poultry racks which get worn out from so much use every year.At first everything was great as it did a wonderful job on our smaller (15-16lb) turkeys. It trusses the birds up nicely, is relatively easy to use, and added the reinforcement I was hoping for to the poultry rack. Those birds came out looking great and they held a beautiful shape. When removing the device it did tear the skin in several places which was unfortunate. Over the course of 10 smaller turkeys I was unable to find a way to remove it without damaging some of the skin. This is superficial but it's worth noting since it is one area that an old school twine truss has an advantage.Unfortunately, this thing was worse than useless on our larger turkeys (18-20lbs). The metal hooks that catch the wings are too short for birds of this size. I forced it on to the first turkey only to find that the hooks pierced the wings and this was the only way they would stay put. Turkey wings from fried turkeys get burned anyway so this was not a big deal. What was a big deal was that just to get the hooks attached meant you had to pull the legs so far up that the slot meant to allow the poultry rack to go through (and provide reinforcement) was not usable. To top all of that off when we removed it from the 18lb turkey after frying it tore up the legs, the skin on the breast and the wings. It was way too tight to truss up to the big birds and tore them up when removing it. So not only did it fail to provide the desired reinforcement to the larger turkeys (where it is most needed) but it really tore up the meat as it was being removed.The creator needs to have a larger size for larger turkeys. The idea is great, but the one size fits all for turkeys is a complete failure.'All of that said, if your family typically goes with the smaller turkeys, up to 16lbs, then this is a handy device that's easy to use and easy to clean, and durable. For anything larger, stick with twine (until they make something larger).

Title: Great turkey and or chicken trusser
Review: I saw an add for this and had to try it out. It works perfectly for a Turkey and or chicken. It precludes the need to truss with twine, which can be messy and difficult. It’s made of stainless steel and is easily cleaned in dishwasher. If you are stuffing your turkey it allows a little bit more room then the plastic ones sometimes attached, which also allows more space for airflow. My only complaint is in the front package picture of holding the wings is misleading and does not work as well as the depiction on back of package.I am very glad I purchased this and will be using indoors and out in the future.

Title: Just like on Shark Tank
Review: Saw this is a turkey-size product on shark tank and was disappointed that there was not a size for chickens. Got this version as soon as it came out and have now used it three times with superb results. I am too lazy to properly truss a chicken, so used to just broil without any truss of any sort. Legs and wings were nearly always overdone. This simple device has worked every time and the problem of dried out wings and legs is solved. Getting it properly situated can take an extra minute or two during prep, but the effort pays off. I use this on 5.5 to 6 pound chickens and it fits just right. Based on how it fits - should work on smaller birds as well. The edges can be a little sharp during cleaning (I have cut myself once), so be careful with that. It does clean up and store easily otherwise.
