Title: It's not that difficult
Review: I was initially considering not getting this because of all the reviews saying it's impossible to put together even for two people. I'm a 100lb female and don't have very much muscle because I don't exercise or have a physically demanding job. But it took me about 3 minutes to put together by myself. 20 seconds to read the instructions and 2.8 minutes to put it together. To make it easier for yourself, instead of putting one full bar on, put both on half way. I affixed one side of the bar inside of the hole and put the other side next to the other hole. Then for the second bar I did the opposite side in all the way then the other next to the hole. It doesn't require anything fancy to get in or even very much muscle. It's more precision than muscle. It helps to use your leg to stabilize the cot, one arm to push down on the cot and the other arm to pull the bar out. Doing both together helps move the hole into the button on the cot. Don't rush it or you'll overshoot the hole. Just pull it slowly on the bar, push on the cot, and ease both into each other. To take it apart it's much of the same thing except with more emphasis on pushing the bar out and holding the cot in place.I wanted a nice cot that would be strong enough for my pupper and large enough for us to share, but didn't cost $100 or folded a million different ways. It's wide enough to share even though she likes to lay diagonally. She's able to sit and be nosy, stand up and say hi to the neighbors, and lay down to sleep or chew on her toy.It feels sturdy even with both of us on it. I like super soft things so as far as comfort without a cushion, it's hard and not squishy enough for me. I plan on getting a specific cushion for it anyway since I don't want her claws to destroy it. If you like softer this is definitely not good for you without a cushion. Leaving it in direct sunlight will make it feel like a blacktop. I also like to have a lot of extra room. I'm 5'7 and I fit inside of the two end bars. So my head and my feet don't sit on top of the bumps at the ends which is nice.I just received it an hour ago so I can't speak to longevity but so far I'm very impressed for the price. I didn't expect to find anything that would be a good fit for my needs. I don't plan on going camping with this. It's basically just for my dog to not have to lay on the floor on our balcony and so that I can join her occasionally. It is pretty heavy and doesn't seem worth it to carry around for camp. It does feel like it's built like a tank. Even the carrying case was nice quality. This cot seems better as backyard/patio furniture or a pop-up bed for guests to not sleep on the floor, but I might be biased since that's what I intended for it. If you have a car and don't plan on carrying your campsite far this will do just fine.

Title: Perfect!
Review: Exactly as pictured, described and everything in between! My brother has the same thing. His is a little smaller which I didn’t realize this is bigger but it’s still the same thing. Worth every penny. Easy set up. It does fold up and fit into its carrying case. Almost fell asleep on it once it was set up and it’s very sturdy and had my puppy come cuddle with me as well.

Title: Pretty good cot, takes a bit of force to put tougher.
Review: I bought 4 of these. The packaging boxes were a joke. The boxes they came in were so badly torn they were doing absolutely nothing to protect the content inside. I think the only reason they had the box was so they have a place to stick the shipping label. The cots themselves were pretty sturdy. They fold up neatly taking up little space. And they're relatively comfortable to sleep on compared to air mattresses. We've only slepted on them for two nights but so far no tearing issue like others reported, yet. I can see why there are so many reviews complaining about the last crossbar being very difficult to install but it's designed that way so the canvas stays taut. With a bit of elbow grease I managed to put 3 out of the 4 cots together within minutes using the handle end of my hammer to pry it in. The thickness of the hammer handle fits the gap perfectly to pry the crossbar into place. That is, until I got to the 4th and last cot, it was so tight that even the prying technique I've been having success with isn't working so well any longer. I can now see how one of the reviewer managed to break the plastic end cap that the crossbar fits into. I spent more time on this cot than all 3 other cots combined. It was so tight that after I managed to fit it in place, the crossbar is visibly bowing inward due to the extreme force the canvas top was exerting on it. After putting all four cots together, I can now see why this unit is getting mixed reviews. The crossbar design leaves very little room for error and their manufacturing precision isn't all there yet so it really depends on your luck what type of fit your gonna get. If you get an easy one, a 10 year old could probably do it alone, with the right tool and after some practice of course. Don't expect them to be able to but it together with barehand, boy scout or not. If you get one of the really tight ones, even most adults world find it difficult to put together. Coleman should really think about redesigning the crossbar fitting and make it loose enough to put on by hand and have wing nuts at the ends to stretch out the canvas to make it tight. It shouldn't cost much more to produce and would make the assembly so much easier.

Title: I like it.
Review: Just used this on a 3 night camping trip. I usually sleep on an air mattress, but I'm sick of the fact that they all eventually leak - and at the worst time... the middle of the night. The cot worked great. It's simple, fool proof, and sturdy. I added a simple, 2" thick sheet of plain upholstery foam, and it was very comfortable.

Review: Sturdy bed and very comfortable. The trick to assemble the last peg is to use your foot. Tilt the bed and press the last peg using your foot to stretch the bed and it goes in easily.

Review: This cot has steel frame side bar and it’s sturdy compared to other cots with aluminium frame which might bend after few usages . Initially it’s hard to fit the bars at first time and after couple of nights it’s better than the first attempt as the canvas stretches a bit . Of course it might need a mattress for good night sleep but for this price its really worth for $$ . Could improve the stitching a little better but so far it’s holding good . Perfect for camping in 4/6 person tents . Worth to buy for long lasting Coleman military cots . Would buy it again .Pros : best value for money , sturdy cot with steel frames compared to other military cots (Alluminium frames ) .Future Improvements needed : Better stitching , pivot arms to place bars , wheeled storage bag ,Overall it’s a better cot compared to others in the market and hope it’s definitely last long for multiple nights . Would buy it again . Best bang for the buck !!!! .
